Story
Meet Griffin~ Griffin is a very sweet and gentle boy. He is quiet and calm, and asks for nothing. Originally picked up as a stray off the streets of Texas, Griffin is now fully vetted and ready to be adopted! Very easy going, Griffin gets along beautifully with dogs of any age and size, and seems to like all humans he meets! Griffin is great in the crate, on leash, and is potty trained. Griffin loves toys and will carry them around! He also loves playing ball! There is some confusion regarding Griffin's age. Shelter vet ages him at 4 yrs. old, but our vet thinks he's closer to 2 yrs. old. *The adoption fee is $450.00 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, leash and collar, ProHeart 12 (adults), and the mandatory CT HB 5368 exam. BREED IDENTIFICATION: Please understand that many rescue dogs are mixes of multiple breeds. Petfinder allows us to choose up to two breeds per dog. While the shelters and our rescue do our best in accurately identifying breeds, breed identification is not guaranteed. If there is a certain breed that you do not want, it is very important that you share this with our rescue when applying. When adopting a puppy, breed uncertainty plays a big part in the size/look of the dog as an adult. Please know that any puppy can be a wonderful dog, regardless of preconceived notions of certain breeds, but it is very important that the adopter has the dedication and patience to raise the puppy with boundaries, consistency, structure, & love. The more effort you give towards training & time you allow for exercise, your puppy will grow to be a HUGE source of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, TOTAL LOYALTY, HAPPINESS, COMFORT & COMPANIONSHIP! ABOUT OUR RESCUE: We are a small rescue run by volunteers & focused on finding the right match for both our dogs & for you. If you are interested in adopting through our rescue, you first will need to complete an adoption application & be approved as a potential adopter before meeting any of our pups. No need to be intimidated by our application as it allows us to get to know you & your lifestyle. Of course, the more you can share the better! Please also note, while a fenced yard is fantastic, it is not required by our rescue, however, it may be required for a certain dog occasionally. Once adoption applicants are approved to become potential adopters, we offer private appointments where you can meet one or several dogs at the discretion of the rescue. We offer a unique & pleasant experience focused on finding the perfect match. It is extremely important to us that everyone is treated with respect & that NO ONE IS LEFT HANGING. WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU WITHIN 2 TO 3 DAYS of application submission. If there is a dog you are eager to meet, please TEXT US DIRECTLY at 203-241-2351 so that we can check the status of your application and move it forward immediately. We look forward to hearing from you and helping you find your new best friend. *All adult dogs can be cat tested by request. HOME/RENTER INSURANCE: SOME PROVIDERS HAVE VERY STRICT POLICIES REGARDING WHICH TYPE OF DOG BREEDS ARE ALLOWED UNDER THEIR COVERAGE. STATE FARM WAS SUGGESTED TO US AS THEY DO NOT PUNISH, DROP, NOR REFUSE YOU DUE TO DOG BREED SHOULD YOU RUN INTO ISSUES WITH YOUR CURRENT PROVIDER.

Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Koda – The Cutest Shepherd Sidekick You’ve Been Waiting For! &#226&#156&#168   Ready to add a little fluff, a lot of fun, and a forever best friend to your life? Say hello to Koda, an absolutely adorable German Shepherd puppy who’s got personality for days and ears that deserve their own fan club!   Born in February to purebred GSD parents, this little lady is everything we love about shepherd girls—smart, confident, curious, and loyal to the core. She’s already showing signs of being someone’s lifelong shadow (in the cutest way possible) and picks up on training like a total pro. Got treats? She’s got tricks.   Koda is snuggly, playful, and just the right amount of sassy. She loves kids, does great in the house, is learning the potty routine like a champ, and knows her way around a crate. Cats? She’s curious, but might be a bit too excited to be their playmate just yet!   And let’s talk about those spectacular ears—they’re basically little radar dishes picking up every bit of love around her.   Koda will be ready for her forever home in mid-May, and she's currently hanging out in Nashville, TN. Don’t worry—she can be transported to the Northeast for the right family!    Interested in adopting Koda? Email us at Critter Csvakry Rescue  ccrnewengland@gmail.comDon’t wait—this sweet girl is going to make someone very happy.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 10, 2025, 9:37 pm

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 5/5/25 Gracie This little girl and her siblings were found on a secluded road, where they had been dumped with a little towel to lay on. Little babies dumped out there alone, with no houses nearby, and very little chance of surviving. Thankfully, someone did see them. They stopped and checked on them, but could not take them in, so they left them there too. But they did reach out to us, and one of our amazing fosters went and found them. They were rescued Easter weekend, so they were dubbed 'our Easter Dumplings.' These babies are so friendly and sweet natured. They ran to the rescuer when she stopped her car, as if they were begging for help. Begging to live. We don't know what breed they are, but they appear to be a mix of many breeds. They will likely be average size (50 ish lbs). Some have nub tails, some have 3/4 tails, and some have full tails. We don't know what that's all about. Gracie has a 3/4 tail. They are now up to date on vaccinations, started on monthly preventives, and will be spayed/neutered this week. They are about 3 months old. They didn't ask to be born into this cruel world, but they are here now, so it's our job to make sure they are loved for the rest of their lives. Please consider one of these babies for your family. You won't regret it! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Harrisburg, PA 2am Fridays Port Jervis, NJ 5am Fridays Southington, CT 8am Fridays East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive.
