Story
We have had Holly since she was a few weeks old. She is three now. She is very sweet and playful, loves attention. She is great with other dogs and kids. She is very hyper and does better outside, we unfortunately just don't have a lot of room outside for her to roam. She is also not house trained very well, she keeps using the bathroom inside regardless if she has been let out or not so she probably needs to stay outside as much as possible.

Story
From Chain to Change 💔➡️💛She spent most of her life tied to a chain… watching the world go by, longing for freedom, comfort, and companionship. Her days were small, limited to the length of cold metal and the ground beneath her paws. But not anymore. Now she runs. She splashes. She plays.Since coming into our care, this sweet girl has discovered what it truly means to be a dog. She has friends to romp around with, soft places to rest her head, and a pond that she absolutely loves. Watching her race toward the water with pure joy is something we’ll never get tired of.The chain is gone. The loneliness is gone. And in its place? Freedom, friendship, and a whole lot of happiness. She is finally living her best life — and we are so honored to be part of her journey. 💕To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Story
We met Luna on a Monday night (Monday in Spanish is "lunes" and another word for moon is "lunar") in a parking lot. We were coming out of Walmart when a couple we passed asked if we wanted a puppy that needed a home. I said we didnt and we went to our car. My son said that it was sad that they were just giving a new puppy away and we could probably give it a home for a little while and find a better permanent home for it. So I said yes. And that how we got Luna. We de-wormed the poor thing and shes been with us 2 years. She's great with the three kids, other dogs and yes, even cats. Now, she IS a chewer. Lol. But she's so loving and funny. But both parents work full time and the kids are usually with a family member/ babysitter. Plus, we are having to move soon and most places won't allow bigger dogs like her. She's beautiful, a total sweetheart and an active and attentive home would be best for her. We just want her to be loved for the sweetie she is.

Story
Sabre is a big handsome boy with an even bigger smile. He loves to play frisbee, playing in a pond or water and being with his person(s). He would do great with an active family with older children and does well with medium to large dogs. A fenced yard where he could run, play ball or frisbee would be the perfect back yard for this big boy. Sabre has learned how to sit and is willing to be trained to be the best companion for you. He comes in at almost 70 pounds, but he still thinks he is a lap dog. Come meet Sabre and fall in love with this fun boy.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Story
These shepherds come from a loving home where the owners became too sick to properly care for them. They at one time bred shepherds for police and rescue organisations. I came in to help my aunt who has stage four copd get moved to Connecticut to live with my cousins as my uncle passed away unexpectedly last may. These three are the last that they own. Tater is around 11 years old and has always been a sweet well behaved pup. He has been losing weight and my aunt is unsure why as she can’t get around to take care of him or her other two anymore. I suspect he may have some kind of cancer that may be causing this but a vet visit to diagnose and treat this isn’t possible for my aunt currently. He still has a lot of living left in him and is a gently loving soul. He and his pals have not had adequate care since my uncle passed unexpectedly. I just want to find a home where he will be loved for the remainder of his life. However long that may be
