Story
Meet Rosie!Rosie is a beautiful 5-year-old German Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray. When she first arrived, she was heartbroken and unsure, choosing to curl up quietly in the back of her kennel. But with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, her personality has begun to bloom..Although Rosie is incredibly sweet and she appreciates all the attention she can get, she is not fond of strangers. She will need a few meets to warm up to new people, but once she is comfortable, she is ready to become someone`s best friend. Rosie needs a home with no children and a home that is calm and does not have a lot of commotion or visitors. Rosie is not a big fan of men.If you’re looking for a gentle companion with a kind heart and a penchant for snuggles, Rosie may be your perfect match. She’s ready for someone special to show her that the world is safe—and that she deserves all the love it has to offer. Rosie had been adopted and lived in a home for a couple weeks and did just amazing (only returned as owner had to have surgery and could not care for her). She would sit and watch out the windows and NOT bark at anyone going by. She did not have any accidents in the house, walked great on a leash and was always excited to jump up on the couch and relax!! This girl loves a good belly rub.

Story
Meet Jet, the kind of dog who makes you smile the moment you meet him. There’s just something about his earnest, good-natured demeanor that feels like sunshine in a furry coat.Jet is a Shepherd-mixalicious gentleman with a lovable, slightly comedic streak. If he were human, he’d be the class clown everyone remembers — goofy, charming, always trying to make the room a little brighter. Meeting new people and making friends? Loves it! Scratches on his silly noggin? Of course! Absolutely!Jet was saved from a euthanasia list and given a second chance at the life he always deserved. He’s a smart boy who appreciates the simple joys: making new friends, settling onto a soft blanket, and having a warm place to sleep. As with all of our adoptable pets, a meet in greet with all family members residing in the home is needed to make sure it`s a great fit for everyone. He has recently shown that he is not a big fan of other dogs, so a home where he can be the king of the castle would be best. This handsome sweetheart is ready for his next chapter — and he’s hoping it’s with a family who finds him as delightful as we do. Come meet Jet and prepare to fall in love with the class clown of the adoption center!

Story
Meet Doc Holiday!Doc is a German Shepherd/Husky/Lab mix that is full grown at around 67 pounds, and was born 12/4/2022. Doc and Wyatt were an owner surrender after his family needed help looking to find forever homes, not only for him, but for many his siblings too. Since being at the shelter, Doc Holiday and his bonded buddy Wyatt Earp are ready to find a family of their own.Doc has learned to make fast friends, while Wyatt still looks to Doc for guidance and confidence when meeting new people. Due to this, they may need multiple meets in order for them to feel comfortable. Once you have earned their trust, you will become their new best friends. Since they did not grow up around children or other dogs outside of their pack, they would love to have proper introductions with any resident family members including children or other dogs. While we do think another dog in the home will help them build confidence, it is not required. As for children, older kids might be easier for them to trust, as younger children can be scary when they are loud or make fast movements. Once they are comfortable though, they may jump to greet and could potentially knock someone over if they become too excited. Both have not had the opportunity to meet with cats. They have learned lots of new tricks that that they use every day such as basic commands like `sit`, `down`, and `off`, they know when it is time to go potty and play outside, and how to walk on leash. They may still pull when they are excited to go on walks or to play outside, but both have come a long way from when they first arrived.Doc and Wyatt are still a little anxious due to the change from being outside dogs into learning that the inside is okay for them too, so they may still need help learning proper house manners once in their future home. They would still like a home that is patient, willing to show them new things at their pace, and one that will have time to help them build confidence and express their energy! Because of their experience of being outside and learning the perks of staying inside throughout the day and overnight, they would be able to be adopted as an inside/outside dog, but we will require that they have access to a climate-controlled shelter, that they have access to fresh food and fresh water every day, and that they have plenty of space to exercise safely within a fenced in area.If you would be interested in getting to know more about Doc and Wyatt

Story
Meet Tempe! Tempe and her siblings came to us in very rough shape, skinny little babies who needed a kind and understanding heart to show them that not all people are bad. Through lots of love and care (and plenty of kibble!) We were able to get all of her litter back into good shape, happy, and growing. Tempe herself is a great dog: very loving, friendly and energetic. She gets along well with people, children and other dogs. Could probably use some more exposure with cats. She's a water dog! She loves playing and drinking water, but she drinks on her own terms. Tempe has done really well at our local adoption events but is still looking for her forever family! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Bebe Looking for a gentle, shy, and oh-so-sweet pup to love? Bebe is your girl! This German Shepherd/Pitty mix has the perfect blend of brains, beauty, and heart. She's great with cats, dogs, and kids, making her a wonderful fit for a loving family. Though she's still learning the ropes of life like potty training and crate training, she shines brightest when she's playing with her siblings or soaking up head scratches and giving kisses. Bebe's story started when her brave mom, abandoned by her owner, found safety at her foster home to give birth. Dad has been faithfully by Mom's side for years, and together they've raised a litter of wonderful pups like Bebe. She may start off a little shy, but once she warms up, you'll see her fun side shine. Bebe loves to run and play with her siblings (she's the fastest of the bunch!) and will happily be your mellow cuddle buddy when it's time to rest. If you're looking for a pup who will adore you as much as you adore her, Bebe is waiting to meet you! Go ahead and submit an adoption application for her now! Favorite toy: Her siblings Best rub spot: Right between the eyes Hidden skill: Outrunning everyone at playtime! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
