Norman is almost 5 years old and the absolute sweetest dog. He is *incredibly* ball-motivated and has a ton of energy, but he's also a people pleaser and calms down pretty easily once he's comfortable. Even on days when he doesn't get enough exercise, he has never been destructive and is fully house trained. While he is used to parents that work from home, he has no trouble with staying alone for long periods and is crate-trained. He needs a home without other dogs and would probably do better with older kids that can play with him. Norman is afraid of other dogs and has leash aggression, but he would rather play fetch than go for a walk anyway! He is a very good guard dog and won't let a stranger into the house unless you tell him they're okay - then he is very friendly and asks them to play with him. He would do best with an experienced dog owner and some yard.

It's a tale they hear all the time. I don't want the dog, or life's changed and we can't take the dog anymore... but I was dumped at a park for weeks before someone noticed that I was "living there. A kind person took me in and I have been in foster care ever since. Waiting for my turn when someone will say that's the girl for me! I am kind and love my person very much. So much in fact that I would prefer a home that is just me and my people. Speaking of people. When it comes to kids I am not the biggest fan. This is Cassie, she is between 1 and 2 years old. She’s a gorgeous German Shepard or German Shepard cross. She was a stray and we don’t know anything about her past. We got her updated on shots and got her microchipped but the chip number isn’t set up yet. My husband and I love her dearly but we already have four dogs and can not handle another high energy young dog at this time. She is a bit anxious and easily frightened by loud noises. That said she’s very curious and eager to learn and explore. I think she’d be extremely good at an interactive sport like agility or fast cat etc. She seems to do very well with other dogs in fact I think it would be better if there were other dogs in her forever home, she is extremely submissive and try’s to introduce play as a way to endear herself to other dogs. She chases cats.
