Story
IDGSR Welcomes DAKOTA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN MASSACHUSETTS & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hi there! My name is Dakota and I’m a handsome 5yr old Shepherd mix. I’m originally an IDGSR dog and have been welcomed back into the rescue due to some life changes with my current family. I know my forever family is out there, I hope it will be with you! *PERSONALITY* I’m a super great dog. I’m friendly with all people that I meet, I’m house & kennel trained, I love to play but don’t have all that crazy puppy energy. I like to go on adventures, play tug, and go anywhere with you. *TRAINING* I already know several commands: paw, off, & wait. I’m very smart and think it would be so cool to learn some more advanced obedience commands. Doing this will help me bond to you & make sure I’m the bestest boy. *IDEAL HOME* My forever home will be with a loving person or family, one that will give me a lot of love and attention. I’d like a yard to play in, a comfy bed to lounge on, and to take walks or go on outings. If you are looking for a loving, mature, smart, and handsome best friend - I’m you guy! Story
IDGSR Welcomes TOBY into the safety of the rescue!! ************** Howdy! The name is Toby & I'm a handsome & polite 5-yr male German Shepherd. I am located near the Greenville, Tennessee area but am available for transport. I'm affectionate, loving, and have decent manners. I have a very nice personality, I love to have my ears and chin scratched. I could benefit from some obedience training just to make sure I am very respectful. I am a good listener and pretty smart so I'm sure I'll catch on quickly. I do well with other large dogs. It would be best if I was around a large female just to be safe. If you have kids in your home, it is best they be 12-yrs and older. If you are looking for a handsome, active, loving, and awesome boy - I'm your guy! ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt? IDGSR Welcomes CLIFFORD into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya! My name is Clifford, I'm about 2-3yrs old, and the most handsome sable German Shepherd you'll ever see! I am located near the Greeneville, Tennessee area and am available for transport to my forever home! I'm Clifford The Big Sable Dog (get it, like Clifford The Big Red Dog?!) I think my foster mom named me that because I'm a big sweet boy! I love to crawl up in your lap & give you tons and tons of kisses! I hope you like sloppy wet ones! I play great with large female doggos and I love to play and explore in the yard. I would do best in an active home & would make an incredible adventure partner! If you like running, walking, hiking, exploring, going to get Pup-Cups, or playing outside, I'd always love to go with you! Since I'm a big sweet boy, I could benefit from some obedience training. I'm SUPER smart and will catch on quickly to anything you can teach me. This will help us bond & prove that I'm the smartest pup around! If you are looking for an affectionate, adventurous, loving, handsome, energetic, and overall great companion - I'm your dude! IDGSR Welcomes HAWK into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya! My name is Hawk, I'm about 1-2 years old, and am a handsome black and tan German Shepherd. I am located near the Greeneville, Tennessee area and am available for transport to my forever home! My friend Haymish (adoptable) & I were saved from being euthanized at a scary shelter, really, we were minutes away from being destroyed due to no fault of our own. We LOVE being in the rescue and now want to find loving homes! My foster mom says I'm a sweet and loving boy, I'm a bit goofy (the best ones are)! I play great with other dogs and am learning what being inside of a home is like. I am house & crate trained and I'm working on some manners. Since I'm a bit of a goofball, I'd benefit from obedience training. I'm smart and eager to please, I'm sure I'll catch on quickly if you are patient & can teach me! This will help us bond and prove I'm the bestest boy around. If you are looking for a loving, sweet, silly, energetic, and adventurous new friend - I'm your guy!
