We have 3 dogs and unfortunatly we have to rehme one, shes a great dog, listens is not agressive, shes pretty quiet, but she also makes a good gaurd dog, thats really the only time she barks. We wish we could keep here, we just dont have the space, or extra money because we have a baby on the way. So it would be very nice to see her go to a family that can give her attention and love her, we hope we dont have to surrendur her..and not know what happem to her.

Story
Hi, my name is Jeremy and I came to MVPC from the shelter where I was COMPLETELY shut down. Like didn’t want to move. MVPC has spent the last few months getting me out and about and learning that I do not have to be scared of everything. And while I am still shy, I have come a LONG WAY!! I love playing with other dogs and running around the yard. I am even good on walks! I am still working on my commands and manners, since I didn’t learn anything in my previous life. I get very excited to come out of the crate and am learning I don’t need to be THAT excited all the time. But otherwise, I am a great guy who even loves jammies and is ready to join a fun family who will continue my training and make sure I learn to LOVE life! ADOPTION FEE: $250 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: est 1.5 years old FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes! DOGS IN HOME: Yes, needs a confident playmate CATS: unknown but can test CHILDREN: Yes, 10 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $250 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/INQUIRY/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding! Story
Hi, my name is Archer. I was purchased from a “breeder” and my new “owner” quickly realized German Shepherd Dogs are a LOT of work. As in we need training, mental stimulation and exercise. She left me in a crate 22 hours out of the day. I was taken in by a neighbor who realized how bad that was for me, but he didn’t have the ability to train a now six month old puppy who had spent months going stir crazy. So I ended up at the shelter, and subsequently MVPC. I have spent the last few months in a GSD-savvy home, learning commands, attending training, and getting my much needed mental and physical stimulation. I am strong willed, stubborn, active and smart and I need a family who is also strong willed, stubborn, active and smart. Older kids please, as I am very strong. I am good with other dogs with proper introductions, and am still learning how to appropriately interact. I need an airline carrier or a steel crate. Unfortunately I spent so much time in a wire crate (not kidding, 6mo, 22 hours a day), I can escape them. I do honor the others and MVPC will help make sure you have the right kind. If you want a smart, loyal, strong, STUBBORN, but beautiful teammate, I may be your guy. Must have experience with my breed, or similar breeds. ADOPTION FEE: $375 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: GSD/Working dog experience BIRTHDAY: est 1-2 years (est Nov 2021) FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes CATS: No CHILDREN: Yes, 12 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! Story
Hey there! I am a 1.5yr old male GSD. I am a handsome guy don’t ya think?? I get along well with other dogs and don’t mind cats. I love to play -whether it’s with a ball or frolicking in a yard! I do well with people and kids, perhaps I would do best in a home with older kids because I am a big boy. I am crate and house trained. I am working on leash training -but I am very smart and good motivated! I’m just looking for a family to love me unconditionally…could that be you?! ADOPTION FEE: $400 (All of BBR dogs are heartworm-tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered (6m/older), and microchipped). INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website: www.bravebreed.org. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required. Thank you for your understanding!

Story
If you KNOW and APPRECIATE the demeanor of a GERMAN SHEP, then BJ might be the boy for you; although, we think he MAY have some border collie in his DNA too. This handsome dude is neutered, 52lbs, will be 6yrs in MAY, , fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, flea/tick free, house trained, and crate trained. His behavior is typical of the GS breed: protective of his home, his yard, his family, independent yet very loyal. BJ enjoys just hanging /relaxing with his family nearby on his very comfortable bed or in his crate, or spending time outside with the family monitoring the fence line intermittently. If you are you searching for a furry friend and companion that is loyal, attentive, dances with joy every morning he sees you. BJ is very routine oriented, excellent car rider, enjoys walks, or just meandering in the yard with you ? BJ is very smart with a loving and attentive demeanor, and his nature is to protect what he loves: his home, his yard, his caretakers. He seems to trust women more easily then men. His JOY and CONTENTMENT comes from being with his human companion and his toys. He loves chewing on his benebones, playing with his stuffed toys, keeping squirrels from his yard, resting in his crate OR beside his caretaker, and he has great recall when his “favorite cookie and/or praise” is given to him. This boy thrives on training and special treats that go with it. BJ would do best with a family of adults only or with an older female dog that is not interested or not bothered by his presence. A fenced yard is required in order that BJ can enjoy the freedom of being outside “unchained”(since he was chained most of his life before he came to rescue). BJ encountered trauma to his back end (we think 3 or 4 yrs ago -no recorded history came with BJ when he entered our rescue group in late 2021). Xrays indicate he has a partially shattered pelvis and displaced hip; he shows no disability while walking, playing, sleeping or chasing squirrels. The only PRESCRIPTION medication he requires is PROIN (to help manage his compromised bladder). Other supplements that BJ takes daily include: Joint supplements, anti-inflammatory/pain mgmt medication (CBD pet oil); for these reasons ONLY, BJ might be considered a “special needs” dog. IF interested in adopting BJ, please send an adoption application located on the ADOPTME page to Dream4pets.org We typically adopt within a 120mile radius from Miami county OH (Miami County includes Troy, Piqua, West Milton, TIpp City, etc....) HOWEVER, there are always "exceptions". Questions? EMAIL us at petsRRpassion@gmail.com

Say hello to Dixie! Dixie came to us as an owner surrender, due to a lifestyle change. We are told Dixie is a 5 year old spayed female German Shepherd Mix. Dixie is housebroken but she loves to play outside especially if you are willing to play fetch all day long! Dixie is a very sweet girl who has shown us she knows how to sit, lay down and shake. Dixie walks great on a leash. Story
Shela is a mixed breed of lab/boxer/Belgian malanoise. She is FULL of energy. She loves getting pets and doing zoomies. She does have to warm up to you at first. But she loves love. She is just too much for me to handle. We have cats in the home. She leaves 2 of them alone but terrorizes the other one. She plays hard. My 3 year old granddaughter comes over once a week and Shela wants attention from her but she is a bit too rambunctious for my granddaughters liking. She does still chew things up and has accidents now and then. She needs a lot of exercise to run off her energy and I am not doing her justice as I work a lot
