Artemis needs to get outside and run every day. If you give him a hour of activity each day he will be on his best behavior. Bio: Artemis is the perfect companion for someone who stays active! He loves to go for a long walk and  play a good game of fetch. He loves to play with other dogs and does really well with other large dogs. Woody is crate trained and only slept in his crate for the first few weeks but recently we have allowed him to sleep on his dog bed at night. Woody does shed a lot but he will not get on furniture which makes cleaning up his hair easy. He is an excellent listener, if I tell him to sit and stay at the top of my steps he will be waiting there when I finish doing my laundry. I’m house trained, crate trained, and I’m good on a leash too. Overall, I’m a very chill boy. I’m not destructive, and while I’m usually crated when my people are away, I’m trusted to sleep out of my crate at night like a gentleman. Since my person works from home, I get to hang out during the day while they work, and I’m perfectly content just being nearby. At night, I’m happy sleeping downstairs or stretched out in the hallway. I’m not much of a toy guy, but I do love my bully stick treats. We got Lacey as a puppy and had her for about 10 years. We've had a couple of incidents with our dog reacting to children trying to pick her up or falling on her. She has caught them with her teeth when she reacted. She is a good dog who spends most of her time outside. She is used to an electric fence and being able to roam in our yard but is inside during the winter. Ideal home would be somewhere that she can run that doesn't have younger children around.

This wonderful pup came to DASH with her brother, Morgan, when their owners were moving and leaving them behind. She is a beautiful, intelligent, curious puppy! She is currently in our DASH Prison Program where she is learning her basic commands. She is housebroken, walks on a leash and learning how to behave in her crate, but she is a puppy, so she will need her new family to understand this and continue helping her master these things. She loves to play with other dogs and toys and loves being loved on by everyone! She is a very active puppy and loves to adventure into unknown places. She can be a little protective of her food and toys but who can blame her, she was left to fend for herself. She is still learning how to properly greet you so young children would not be ideal. Laney has not been cat tested, but feel with proper introductions she should be fine. She would make a great addition to an active family ready to take on a great puppy who is eager to learn!
