Story
Meet Milo. He is a 1 year old, smarter than your average honor student, and has a heart as big as his paws! He’s the ultimate adventure buddy—whether it’s hiking, playing with his dog friends, or charming every kid he meets. This boy is ALL about love, fun, and making sure you never hike alone again. If you’ve been looking for a ridiculously smart, endlessly loyal, and goofy best friend, Milo is your guy. As for cats… well, let’s just say he knows they exist and finds them very interesting in a not so ideal way. If interested in meeting him please put in an application at https://www.hopeshavenfriends.org/

Story
Apollo 💙 is about 18 months old and weighs about 65 pounds. Apollo is a very loving dog, who's protective of his owner. He plays well with medium sized dogs, but can sometimes be to much for smaller dogs as he doesnt know his size. He's never been around cats, so we aren't sure about them. He's not protective of his food and sits well when given directions. Because he's still a puppy, he has a lot of energy! He's very affectionate to humans and thinks he's a lap puppy. He's very talkative and is kennel/house trained.

Story
We are begging for Luna she is in a place where the dog in the home doesn't like her and that limits Luna in her freedom to be Luna. We need her in a place where she is free to be Luna ~she is a fantastic dog with great potential she just needs a chance can you PLEASE help us with her? Currently she is spending lots of time in a crate and when out muzzled. Luna is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd mix who is just a lovely, fun dog. She is so silly and clumsy yet incredibly smart! Luna walks well on leash and rarely barks in the house or yard. She does best with a breed knowledgeable human who understands how shepherds work. Luna is fostered in a home with several other dogs but her and the other female don’t always get along. Luna also does not like the hyper movements when kids play. A home with a non dominant male dog and no kids would be best for her. She has met and gotten along with male dogs of all sizes! Even a tiny chihuahua. Luna is impeccably crate trained! She is such a great sheppy that needs to find her right home. APPLY AT WWW.HOPESHAVENFRIENDS.ORG

Story
Calista is a beautiful, crazy, playful, rambunctious 2 year old German Shepherd. Found out in the woods in Rio Grande Valley with her mom and sister fending for themselves and trying to survive the coyotes. She was very skittish when she arrived at the rescue, and at times can still be, but she has come a long way. She gets excited and does a crazy spin in her excitement. She loves playing with other dogs, loves treats and playing with her foster siblings. She really needs a patient person who knows the breed and is willing to work with her and have the dedication to wait until she shows her very silly side :) Her foster mom has learned her secret- treats and smelling like hot dogs/ peanut butter helps! Calista loves other dogs and gets along great with her foster homes pack. She is playful and energetic with them. Sometimes maybe too energetic as she can be an escape artist and find even the smallest of holes in the fence to see if she can fit and make a b-line to the neighbors house! Calista will need to stay local to Texas for the time being. Each day she is gaining confidence and understanding and realizing that people are not all mean and that there ares some out there that really do love dogs and want nothing but goodness for them. If you think you are ready to give Calista love, attention and help her build trust and confidence in herself and you then please apply! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX only)
