Story
Meet Yar! Yar is a confident little explorer who is always ready to investigate new toys, new smells, and new friends. He’s playful, silly, and full of puppy enthusiasm. Yar loves to romp around with his siblings before settling in for a cozy nap. With his fun personality and adventurous spirit, Yar would do great in a home ready for all the joy (and laughter) that comes with raising a puppy. Rescued from a high-capacity shelter at just 6 weeks old, this adorable group of puppies has been busy growing, learning, and playing in their foster home. Now 8 weeks old, they’re ready to stomp their way into loving forever homes! These pups are believed to be Shepherd mixes and are expected to grow to around 65 pounds when fully grown. Shepherd-type dogs are known for being intelligent, loyal, athletic, and deeply devoted to their families. They thrive with active households that enjoy walks, adventures, and plenty of playtime. In their foster home, the Dinosaur pups have been socialized with children, dogs, and other household pets, giving them a great start to becoming well-rounded companions. Like all puppies, they are still learning the basics of potty training, crate training, and good puppy manners. Each one has their own personality — but all share the same sweet, playful, and curious spirit.

Story
Dozer is a 4 yr old M/N blk/brn German Shepherd Dozer was great in playgroup! He was very neutral and happy to coexist with the other dogs. His focus was mostly on his handler and on wanting attention from him. He is very sweet and really just wants a person to be close The fact that Dozer loves people so much makes his story even more heartbreaking. Dozer and his non-biological Cane Corso brother Rover (also euth listed, deadline 03/31) were abandoned on a property after their owners moved out of their home. They told the neighbors they were coming back for them but never did. A neighbor fed them for a while but eventually the boys were trapped and brought in.  ##2715742##

Story
Porsche is a spayed fawn and brown Germ Shepherd. Porsche came into the shelter on 01/21/2026 as a return. She is about 1 years and 7 months old. The adopter put her in the backyard with his Sheepadoodle within hours of bringingg her home which is a big no no especially after just leaving the shelter, and a fight ensued. The other dog sustained a single puncture wound. It is unclear which animal insitgated the fight.  Porsche had nothing but positive notes at the shelter. She was described as friendly, attention-seeking, obedient, and sweet. She enjoyed squeaky toys and playing fetch (but mostly just preferred to sit and chew on the ball)! The adopter said she enjoyed car rides and added that she was jumpy and energetic. She jumped the fence and escaped the yard on one occasion. Porsche was kept crated according to return notes. Dog loves toys, takes quickly and squeezes them repeatedly when toy has squeaker inside of it. Sweet, comes when called by name.  High energy when out of the kennel, but calms down in the yard. Was very fixated on the ball in the yard. Likes fetch, but enjoys laying down and chewing on the ball more. Knows sit and down.  ##2648218##

Story
3 yr old M tan/white GSD mix Meet Duke, a handsome 3-year-old, 48 pound boy looking to find his perfect forever home! Recently rescued from SASA, this sweet boy was surrendered by his family, who said they no longer had time for him. Despite this tough start, he remains an incredibly loving and hopeful pup, eager for a new chapter with someone who will truly cherish him. According to his foster family, he’s the whole package: house-broken, crate-trained (he even puts himself to bed!), and always eager to please. He loves his toys, enjoys playtime, and gets along well with dogs his own age. With older dogs he can be a bit cautious, so he may thrive best as the only pet where he can soak up all the love and attention he craves. He’s house broken completely. He even learned how to ring the bell to go outside  What truly makes him special, his foster family says, is his affectionate nature. He seeks connection, happily leaning in for pets and companionship, and would be a loyal, loving addition to a home that wants a smart and tenderhearted companion. If you’re looking for a devoted friend, Duke is ready to fill your days with joy. Come meet him your new best buddy could be waiting! ##2561501##
