Story
Reya is an absolutely sweet dog. She loves to play, be outside, chase birds and be close to her people. She has a sensitive tummy which is mostly managed with a sensitive stomach food and we only give her ice cubes as treats! We have a baby on the way and I think she needs more attention and exercise than we are able to give her. We got her when she was a puppy and she has been a lovely dog. Her breed mix just needs more exercise than we can handle with our schedules and stage of life. She is German Shepherd, Husky and Blue Heeler!

Story
Samson has been a wonderful friend for my husband and I for over 6 years. Due to our declining health, and that our new apartment does not allow pets, we must seek a new home for our best friend. He is very well behaved in the home. he minds his mannors and has never gotten on the furniture. He knows basic commands; sit, stay, lay down. He loves his treats! He gets very excited outside and will need to have some leash training. He does well with kids and other dogs, but has never been around cats. We are looking for a loving home for our Sammy.

Story
Meet Journey – A Loyal German Shepherd mix Girl Looking for Her Forever Home   Journey's name couldn't be more fitting, because she's been on quite a journey to find the family she deserves. She first came into one young man's life when he was just 15 years old. His parents thought that giving him the German Shepherd mix puppy he'd always wanted would keep him busy and out of trouble—and they were right. Journey was loved, cherished, and became his constant companion through his teenage years. Then reality hit. At 18, he had to move out on his own, and the only housing he could afford didn't allow dogs. Faced with the heartbreaking choice between homelessness and giving up his best friend, he searched everywhere for help. He drove to rescues and shelters, asked friends and family, and exhausted every option before finding Critter Cavalry Rescue.   Thanks to a devoted rescue foster with Critter Cavalry, Journey was welcomed into foster care and given everything she needed to start fresh. She has been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, started on heartworm prevention, and is heartworm negative. Most importantly, she has been given another chance to find the forever family she deserves. At 3 years old and weighing about 50 pounds, Journey is everything you could hope for in a companion. She's smart, obedient, affectionate, and eager to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether it's a hike in the woods, a game of fetch, running errands, or simply helping with chores around the house, Journey is happiest when she's with her people. She absolutely adores everyone she meets. Adults, children, other dogs, and even cats are all friends in Journey's world. She has an enthusiastic, playful personality without being overwhelming, and one of her best qualities is her wonderful 'off switch.' After she's greeted everyone, explored the house, and made sure everything is in order, she's perfectly content to lie at your feet or rest her head in your lap for a peaceful nap until the next adventure begins.   Journey's greatest gift is her unwavering devotion. She bonds deeply with her people and will gladly follow you wherever life takes you. All she's ever wanted is someone to love and a place to call home. Her first family loved her enough to make the painful decision to give her the opportunity for a better future. Now it's time for Journey to find the family that will love her for the rest of her life.   If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving, well-mannered best friend who is ready to fill your days with love and companionship, Journey may be the one you've been waiting for.   To learn more or apply to adopt Journey, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Story
Bambino — Ready to Find His People! Some puppies are meant to be your sidekick, your adventure buddy, your passenger in the car and your best friend—and Bambino is definitely one of those puppies! At just 5 months old and 38 pounds, Bambino is an adorable 80% German Shepherd/20% Husky mix who may grow to around 50 pounds when he is finished growing. He’s got the beautiful Shepherd look, those amazing ears, and a fun-loving personality packed into a manageable size. Bambino was adopted by a single gentleman who quickly realized that his busy work schedule and apartment lifestyle weren't the right fit for a young, active puppy. He made the responsible decision to ask Critter Cavalry Rescue to help find Bambino a home where he can truly have the life he deserves. And we think Bambino is going to make someone an incredible companion. He is a happy, confident puppy who approaches life with a “let's go!” attitude. He loves to play, enjoys a good case of the zoomies when he has room to run, and is happy to head out for a walk with his person on the other end of the leash. He is wonderful with other dogs and cats, loves meeting new people, and greets the world with a wagging tail and that adorable puppy smile. He also LOVES riding in the car, so if your idea of a good day includes grabbing your BFF and heading out for an adventure, Bambino is ready to ride shotgun! ❤️ A fenced yard and an active family would be ideal for him, along with people who have plenty of time to spend with their young dog. Bambino would happily join you for hiking, trails, outdoor adventures, morning jogs, errands or just whatever the day brings. He doesn't need to be entertained every second—he simply wants to be included. Most of all, Bambino needs a family who understands that bringing home a puppy is a commitment and who is ready to make him their forever boy. He has so much potential to grow into that wonderful dog who goes everywhere with you and becomes an important part of your family. We just need to find the people who are ready to make that commitment to him. Could Bambino be your next adventure buddy and lifelong BFF? To learn more or request an adoption application, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. We would love to tell you more about this special boy and help you see if Bambino might be the perfect fit for your family. Story
Raquel is a gorgeous, funny, super bright and loving pure bred German Shepherd girl who is 4 months old and 43 pounds.  Found as a stray just after the 4th of July weekend this girl was never claimed by anyone from social media and postings by  the small town shelter.  No collar, not spayed and a little underweight, this girl was just released to Critter Cavalry Rescue to find her the best GSD savvy home ever.  Raquel is just a baby and will blossom under the right home environment into a gorgeous 80+ pound girl when fully grown. This girl is a working breed that will require lots of exercise and mental stimulation daily.  A fenced yard is an absolute requirement and qualification to meet in order to be considered to adopt her.  She would be fine with another dog in the home or even cats.  She is destined to be a fun companion and puppy to raise and mold into all the potential that we see already exists in her.  She is not skittish and she is smart smart smart!!!   If you are interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Tell us where you live please; city and state.       ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Stacy is an energetic, rambunctious, female German Shepherd mix with a large, sturdy frame. As an adult dog, she has plenty of spunk and loves to spend time outside, running around and enjoying the fresh air. Stacy can be a bit selective about her friends, but once she warms up to you, she’s full of personality and affection. Her playful and funny nature will keep you entertained, and she’s always up for a good time. With her strong, independent spirit, Stacy will thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and attention, and in return, she’ll offer tons of love and laughter.
