****Matana has been with longer than we would like, so she has been added to our Lonely Hearts Club. Her adoption fee has been reduced to $100****Hello there! My name is Matana. My name means precious gift, which is perfect because I have been told that I am a precious bundle of joy! I can be shy at first, but once I warm up, I have a waggy tail, a big smile, and love to lean in for pets. So, if you are looking for the gift of a new friend this season, look no further! I`m your girl! Come on down to meet me to see for yourself! I just know we will be instant best friends!Restricitons: I cannot go home with cats and I may do best as the only dog in the home. I will need a slow introduction to other dog friends!Medical History: I appear to be a healthy adult, but it`s always a good idea to set up an appointment with your vet soon after adoption so we can meet each other! I have a mild ear infection which is being treated with medication and is getting better! I am currently on medication to manage my stress and anxiety in the shelter. Many dogs who are given these medications in the shelter do not need them outside the shelter, though we do think I will do best if I continue these medications at least until I am very well settled into my new environment.Weight: ~ 64 lbsAdoption Fee: $100 + tax

Story
****Mr. Big Ears has been with us longer than we would like, so he has been added to our Lonely Hearts Club. His adoption fee has been reduced to $100****Meet Mr. Big Ears, a handsome German Shepherd who’s all about listening… and maybe eavesdropping a little! This gentle guy is best suited for a home without small children and would thrive with slow, patient introductions to other dogs. Once he feels safe, he’s a loyal and affectionate companion who loves calm, predictable routines. His name isn’t just for show, those big ears are ready to catch every word of love and praise you give him! (Or the opening of a treat bag a mile away!) Give Mr. Big Ears a chance, and he’ll show you that a little patience brings a lifetime of devotion. Come into the Adoption Center to meet him!Weight: ~ 79 lbsMedical: Mr. Big Ears is a healthy dog but introducing him to his new vet for a full check-up is always a good idea.Price: $375 + tax

Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 8 mos old 45 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Due to recent changes in my work schedule, I’m no longer able to provide JOJO with the consistent time and care she deserves. Because of this, I’m hoping to find her a loving and stable new home where she can continue to thrive. JOJO is a very warm-hearted and kind dog with a cheerful, energetic personality. She is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys interacting with people. She brings a lot of joy with her positive attitude and playful nature, while also being able to relax and enjoy quiet companionship. My hope is to find a family who can offer JOJO the love, patience, and long-term commitment she deserves, so she can continue to live a happy and fulfilling life.
