Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 8 mos old 45 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Sasha is a sweet-natured German Shepherd that is approximately 5 years old. She is almost completely blind, may see some shadows when close to something, Sasha is very smart and learns quickly. She is already getting Sit, Come, and her name. We are working on “No Jump or Off” because she wants to jump up on you or counter surf. However, she does not beg while her foster Mom is eating, she lays down to rest during that time. Within a week, she attached to her foster Mommy and has been so eager to please. Sasha is completely house broken and has had zero accidents since arriving to her foster home. She is almost trustworthy in the house, unless there is food on the counter, or she can get to paper towels or toilet paper LOL. However, training can help her learn boundaries. Sasha should have a fenced yard to roam. In addition, she needs to go to a dog-savvy home that will continue working with her commands to make her the best dog she can be. She would do best in a home needs to be an only dog. Sasha just wants a forever home with people that will love her and she will give so much love back. German Shepherds are eager to please and loyal to those that love them. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Pro’s: Indy is 3 years old and a goofy girl. She is good with other dogs and cats and children, she has no behavioral issues NOW… she liked to jump up on people and was not a very good listener so she went to a two week board training at Off Leash K9 (2700 dollars) and is very well trained with her commands now. She is kennel trained and leased trained and has not had a potty issue in the house in over a year. She loves to chase ground squirrels and play with other dogs, she is submissive but can hold her own. She is up to date on all her shots deworming. Cons: She has a long coat which is beautiful and is wonderful but our daughter has grown allergic to her, we have tried brushing, bathing once a week, sprays. Nothing seems to work so we’ve been having to trim her hair to limit it but that’s not the right thing to do for her and we want what’s best that’s why the low fee.
