Story
Hi! I'm Lulu, a female Husky-German Shepard mix looking for my forever home. I was shy and nervous in the shelter environment, but I've totally blossomed in my foster home into a goofy and sweet girl who is eager to please. I love toys, treats, playing in my foster family's backyard and I really, really love snuggles! I am quickly learning house manners like sit, stay, down, and letting my foster family know when I need to go outside. I like every person I meet, especially kids, and I get along well with other dogs. I am a bit of a cat-chaser, but a well-placed scratch quickly puts me in my place. Because I am a young dog, about a year old, I have a ton of energy! I would love to meet you and see if we would be a good fit! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at sftsrescue.org/adoptableanimals

Story
My son adopted the dog from the Dane County Humane Society. The dog knows several commands and is generally sweet, but is lively and very strong. We don't have the time and resources to properly care for the dog, and reluctantly, need to put him up for adoption. We are starting obedience training today, so expect to have more guidance on how to handle him. I will post photos in the near future.

Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. We only accept applications from Wisconsin. Coa is currently living with a foster near Milton, Wisconsin. Coa is a local owner surrender who found herself needing a new home due to her owner moving. Coa, Leo, and two of their puppies were all being rehomed and thankfully they were able to come to our rescue. Coa is a two year old female. She loves to play with other dogs, and while social with all dogs, she prefers dogs her own size. Just like Leo, she is also crate trained, active, smart, food motivated, and walks well on a leash. Coa is your typical GSD: beautiful, protective, energetic & loyal! She could be adopted with Leo. She would like a home without cats, other small animals, or children. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. We only accept applications from Wisconsin. Leo is currently living with a foster near Milton, Wisconsin. Leo is a three year old local owner surrender who found himself needing a new home due to his owner moving. He is quite possibly the most beautiful dog you'll ever see! Leo spent the majority of his life outdoors and he longs to learn the live of a cherished indoor dog. He yearns to belong. To learn how to be your companion, your security, your reason to get out and move. He longs for the comfort of a soft rug in your warm home and to know what it’s like to be your good boy. Because he is a good boy. And he just needs his good human who will welcome him as their one and only. He is smart, crate trained, and loves to run in a fenced in yard. He is an active dog who is silly and will chase his own tail. He is food motivated, knows basic commands, and walks well on a leash. He is a Shepsky (Shepherd, Husky mix) & even more beautiful in person as the pictures show! He plays well with Coa (GSD), but in typical shepherd style likes to play rough. He is very smart & eager to please his people! He could easily be adopted with Coa, though he would also thrive in a home on his own. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Meet Remy! A 2 year old shepherd mix with unlimited love to give looking for a forever family! She's about 50lbs, loves people, including kids, and other dogs! Cons: She is not good with cats, won't hurt them but will chase and obsessively stalk. Needs a fenced in yard as she is a runner. Remy loves snuggles and is perfectly content being a couch potato but she will also run and play all day long with the kids and dogs in the backyard or at the dog park. She doesn't bark, doesn't resource gard (you can reach right into her food bowl while she's eating or take anything from her), and knows basic commands as well as a few tricks. Please message me if you're interested in meeting her :)

You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 8 mos old 45 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
