Story
Penny, German Shorthaired Pointer/Heeler, 4yrs. 50lbs. Penny is a sweetheart with a gentle, loving personality and lots of energy. She absolutely loves being around people and will happily stay by your side all day. Once she’s had plenty of exercise and playtime, she’s the best cuddle buddy for a relaxing evening at home. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play. We’ve boarded her at doggy daycare many times while traveling and have never had any issues. Penny loves chasing balls, long walks, exploring the woods, chew toys, chicken treats, carrots, watermelon, and even watching old westerns with her family. There’s not much she doesn’t enjoy besides bath time and being left alone for long periods. She truly is an incredible companion and rehoming her is heartbreaking for us. We simply want her to have the time, attention, and freedom she deserves to live her happiest life. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Charlie, Lab/German Shorthaired Pointer, 2 yrs. 65 lbs. Charlie is a great dog that has found himself homeless. His owner is going to memory care and no one in the family will take him. He is good on a leash and on car rides. He seems to be good with other dogs so we are looking for a home with someone home most of the time or that has another dog for him to hang out with. Charlie is loyal and comes in queue. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
Harley is a 4 yr old female GSP mixed. She is very energetic and loves attention. We moved from a home with land into an apartment & she needs more room to run and play. She is a bit aggressive with certain types of dogs but she loves to run and hunt. Hoping she can be rehoused to someone who has land and can be active with her.

Story
All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Derry Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $575 Meet Derry: This handsome man is so playful and ready for his forever home! From Their Previous Shelter: This sweet little boy has already survived more than any puppy ever should. At just 8 months old and 25lbs, this adorable mixed breed came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where he lived crammed inside a camper trailer with more than 20 other dogs in deplorable conditions. Despite that rough start, he has remained one of the gentlest, sweetest souls you could ever meet. 💙 Now safe at the shelter, he’s finally starting to learn that life can be soft, peaceful, and full of love. He may be medium to low energy overall, but when he gets excited, he unleashes the CUTEST lightning-fast zoomies you’ve ever seen. Blink and you might miss him zipping around with pure joy before immediately returning for more cuddles and attention. This handsome little guy loves toys, enjoys playing fetch, and has no issues sharing with other dogs. After spending his whole life surrounded by chaos and overcrowding, he’s proven to be incredibly kind, social, and easygoing. He’s decent on leash and continuing to work on his confidence and leash skills, and with a little patience and love, he’s going to blossom beautifully in a home environment. Just look at those soulful eyes and that curious little face in his photo — you can practically see him trying to figure out if this is finally his chance at a better life. 🥺 For the first time ever, he’s ready for peaceful naps, soft dog beds, toys of his very own, regular meals, cozy nights indoors, and people who will cherish him like family. No more surviving. No more overcrowded camper life. No more being overlooked. He deserves a home where he can learn what it feels like to be spoiled, protected, loved endlessly, and treasured for the rest of his life. Whoever adopts this sweet boy isn’t just getting a dog — they’re giving a survivor the fresh start he’s always deserved. 🐾 Interested in this furry companion? We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Together, we are making a difference!
