Story
Hi! I'm Opal and I'm just under 5 years old. I have beautiful blue eyes that I get lots of compliments on. My favorite activity in the whole world is running and I would love to be someone's jogging companion, but I'm also content with a 30 minute walk daily and some yard time. I also enjoy curling up beside my humans on the couch and lounging outside in the sun. I get along well with most other dogs (particularly male dogs) and I have met a few cats and got along well with all but one of them. Other good attributes about me are that I'm completely potty trained (no accidents since I was a puppy!), I am not food aggressive, I don't shed a lot, and I sleep through the night happily. My owners are trying to re-home me because I am very scared of young children and they recently had a baby. I need to be placed in a home with children over the age of 10. My DNA test said I'm predominately Supermutt, Cattle Dog, and German Shorthaired Pointer.

She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience she warms up and shows her affectionate, loyal side. Once she feels safe, she's a loving companion who will be happy to stick by your side. Atlas will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age, and as the only dog in her new home.
