Story
Meet Finch  He is a 1 year German Shorthaired Pointer  He is absolutely breathtaking, look at those eyes what an awesome heterochromia on him. He is ready to find a home of his own. He will be coming up very soon but needs a foster to adopt home to confirm his spot !  Finch is AMAZING with other dogs. He is great with kids and meeting new people. Unfortunately Finch is not able to be in a home with cats or with farm animals he has a prey drive. He came from the streets of south Texas he was apart of a Dog pack that roamed the country side. There was a small new neighborhood that was built. The community of people living there wanted the dog pack that Finch came from to be picked up by the shelter some even threatened to shoot them. They made up tons of lies in order to convince animal control to take them. Thankfully we were able to get them out before they could be shot or picked up by the ACO’s.  Finch Needs a foster or foster to adopt to have a confirmed spot on our next transport ##2157377##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED PERRY! Please meet Perry, a 4 year old handsome mixed breed boy (possible combination of GSP and Bluetick Coonhound), weighing in at +\-50 pounds. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Perry's zest for life is evident in his love for play. Whether it's a game of fetch or playtime in the yard, Perry's enthusiasm is infectious!  Perry's dedication to training is remarkable. He has an impressive grasp of basic obedience commands such as "sit," "down," "stay," and "heel." He also understands the "place" command, showcasing his intelligence and eagerness to learn. His training progress is a testament to his willingness to please and his adaptability to new situations. Perry is both crate trained and fully house trained. Perry LOVES his person (or people). He is a relationship driven dog that will bond tightly with his caretaker(s). He loves to engage in play and share mental and physical stimulation inside and outside his residence.  Perry is a very well behaved gentleman out in public, having socialized well with people and other dogs of all sizes in a variety of situations/environments. However, inside his home, the sudden movements of younger children can tend to make Perry nervous, and as such, older children (12+) are recommended to reside with Perry in his home. That being said, Perry is perfectly fine and content to utilize his crate in situations where young ones may be temporary visitors. Perry enjoys the companionship of other dogs, provided they are introduced properly and will respect his boundaries. He is able to participate in playgroups with others; however, Perry's primary interest and focus is his person (or people), which also makes him a great candidate as a solo dog in a new home. Perry has a unique vocal talent - the "hound" howl. However, this distinctive trait only surfaces when he feels bored, adding a touch of character to his already charming personality! To ensure Perry thrives, he should be placed in a loving home with plenty of room for him to run and play. He's an active dog who relishes outdoor adventures. Most importantly, Perry deserves a home that will shower him with boundless love and affection, just as he wholeheartedly gives in return. If you're seeking a loyal, playful, and loving companion who will bring endless joy to your life, Perry could be the perfect addition to your family. Don't delay in completing an application to meet the handsome Perry today! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter 3 Puppy combo shots (Distemper/Parvo) Bordetella Micro-chip Rabies De-worming ##1282577##

Story
I’m a 5-year-old female, purebred GSP. I am currently in a home that I have known since I was a puppy because my recent owner took me in for pet sitting. Several months ago, my original owners needed to move to a big city and their new home would be an apartment. Clearly, they were no longer able to keep me and take me with them so my pet sitter adopted me. Unfortunately, though I was fine with her other dogs when she had me for doggy daycare, now that I am a permanent part of the pack, one of her females and I aren’t getting along. My current mom of 8 months thinks I would be much happier in a home as an only dog or maybe with a submissive male dog. Because I am an alpha dog, I wouldn’t be good in a family that has another female or a dominant male dog.

Story
Birdie and her sister Breezy came to Colorado from Texas to find a new lease on life. Breezy was lucky enough to find her forever home! Now is it Birdie's turn? Birdie is guessed to be a 11 month old GSP/Lab/Aussie mix. She is beautiful, but very timid and shy. She has one blue eye and one brown one, and weighs around 30 lbs. Her foster family is working to gain her trust in their home. Sadly, she does not seem to have had much socialization in her short life, as she is very skiddish around newcomers. She will need a patient adopter that has time, patience and love, to devote to a scared dog. She has done well with the dogs and cat in the home, but will need slow introductions. She is doing well learning to walk on a leash 🦮. Birdie is doing well with potty training and has only had a few accidents. She doesn’t know how to be a “puppy” yet, but she is warming up. As time goes on, we see her quirky personality coming out. She is such a sweetheart! 💗 With time, love and patience, she will become the most loyal friend that someone has always wished for. Birdie is waiting in Wellington to meet her forever family.
