Story
Atlas is a sweet adult pointer with a gentle and thoughtful personality. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience she warms up and shows her affectionate, loyal side. Atlas would benefit from a home that can go at her pace and provide her with a predictable routine as she settles in and builds a relationship with her family. Once she feels safe, she's a loving companion who will be happy to stick by your side. Our volunteers tell us that Atlas may seem a bit unsure initially, but responds well to patience and a calm and gentle manner. And once she is leashed up for her walks, she's ready to go, exploring the world with her nose, appreciating the opportunity to get outside and catch all the sniffs.Atlas will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age, and as the only dog in her new home. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 57.8 Age: 2yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Hi! I'm Opal and I'm just under 5 years old. I have beautiful blue eyes that I get lots of compliments on. My favorite activity in the whole world is running and I would love to be someone's jogging companion, but I'm also content with a 30 minute walk daily and some yard time. I also enjoy curling up beside my humans on the couch and lounging outside in the sun. I get along well with most other dogs (particularly male dogs) and I have met a few cats and got along well with all but one of them. Other good attributes about me are that I'm completely potty trained (no accidents since I was a puppy!), I am not food aggressive, I don't shed a lot, and I sleep through the night happily. My owners are trying to re-home me because I am very scared of young children and they recently had a baby. I need to be placed in a home with children over the age of 10. My DNA test said I'm predominately Supermutt, Cattle Dog, and German Shorthaired Pointer.

Story
Meet Baby — a sweet, soulful girl with a heart full of love and a special way of seeing the world. Baby is deaf, her amazing ability to connect without sound makes her bond with her people even more special. She’s attentive, smart, and loves watching your every move — especially if it means treats or cuddles are involved! This gentle girl has a calm, affectionate personality and thrives on love, routine, and positive reinforcement. She may not hear your voice, but she feels your kindness in every touch and sees it in every smile. Baby would do wonderfully in a patient, loving home where her new family is excited to continue using hand signals and building trust together.*I am a restricted breed in Denver. If you are a Denver resident, you must also purchase a Breed-Restricted Permit for $30.

Story
Ramon Ramon is reported as being 3 years old but his foster thknkgs is closer to 12–18 months old and very much still a puppy. He has the build, energy, and playful mindset of a young dog and will be happiest in an active home that enjoys getting out and doing things together. Another playful dog in the home would likely be a great match for him. He’s a Pointer/Boxer mix, combining the athleticism of a pointer with the affectionate, goofy personality of a boxer. He’s strong, fun, and loves being involved in whatever his people are doing. Ramon would enjoy long walks, hikes, runs, backyard playtime, and learning new things. He’s a great candidate for basic obedience work, continued training, and even activities like agility or structured play sessions to keep his mind and body busy. One of his best qualities is his natural temperament — he is not reactive with people or other dogs. He’s social, friendly, and ready to bond with an active family looking for a loyal, energetic companion.
