Story
Frankie came to us from a local Animal Control after a difficult start in life. Sadly, this handsome boy was abandoned twice, with the most recent situation leaving him at a local fire department. Despite his rough beginning, Frankie is an incredibly sweet dog who loves being with his people and soaking up attention. True to his German Shorthaired Pointer breed, he is an active, intelligent boy who thrives when he has a job to do and plenty of opportunities to stay busy. Frankie is currently working on his doggy manners, and it's clear he may not have had much training in the past. He is eager to learn and will benefit from a patient family willing to help him continue building confidence and skills. Kennel life has been stressful for Frankie, and he can be quite anxious in that environment. He is a dog who needs space, exercise, and mental stimulation to truly shine. With the right home and plenty of activity, Frankie has all the potential to become a loyal and loving companion.

Story
Meet Hilux - Three Legs. Endless Love. One Incredible Survivor. Some dogs let their past define them. Hilux refuses to. Hilux came to us through the Soi Dog Foundation, where her journey began after she was found following a devastating road traffic accident. She suffered severe injuries, including brain trauma and damage to her left front leg. Despite every effort to save it, the leg couldn't be restored, and it was amputated. But if you think Hilux lets that slow her down... think again. Today, Hilux is a happy, friendly, and confident girl who has embraced life with all three legs! Like many rescue dogs, Hilux can be a little unsure around new people at first and isn't a fan of busy traffic, but with patience and reassurance, her sweet personality shines through. She may not care much for toys, but what she does love is discovering new places, making friends, and soaking up affection from the people she trusts. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, and gets along well with the other dogs around her. Hilux doesn't see herself as different. She doesn't count her legs. She counts the adventures she still has ahead of her. Now all she needs is a family willing to look beyond what's missing and see everything that's still there: resilience, joy, courage, and a heart overflowing with love. Could you be the one to give this amazing survivor the forever home she's waited so long for? Apply to adopt today!

Story
Meet Zena, an almost 5-year-old German Shepherd with a love for long walks and spending quality time with her people. While Zena can be nervous and a bit unsure when meeting new people, once she warms up, she becomes an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Zena would do best in a low-traffic home without young children, where she can feel safe and comfortable. She thrives with owners who understand that she needs calm, stress-free introductions and the time to build trust at her own pace. Zena is looking for a confident owner who can provide structure, plenty of exercise, and lots of companionship. She enjoys long walks and would love a family dedicated to helping her continue to grow and succeed. Zena gets along well with other dogs when introduced properly, but she may need a few meetings before feeling comfortable with new people. For the right person, Zena is absolutely worth the effort. Beneath her cautious exterior is a wonderful dog just waiting to form a lasting bond with her forever family. ❤️
