Story
Blondes have more fun and Ivy is primed and ready to venture out into her furever life and is eager to experience everything she has heard about. Soft beds, treats, snuggles, toys, walkies and smooches...Ivy has heard all of the stories! She may not have had a lot in her life so far, but she deserves everything. This lab/retriever mix pup is still a puppy, weighing about 21 lbs now with plenty of room to grow. Ivy is a little shy and unsure still but has LOTS of doggo friends and has been loving regular meals and attentions from the aet volunteers. Ivy would do well in a home with other dogs, no matter the number, to help improve her confidence as doggo friends are great at doing. She is an angel in her crate and keeps it clean. She would love a patient and encouraging home as well as people who will teach her everything living with a family can and will be. Ivy will surely weave her way around your heart!

Story
Blondes have more fun? Ian says, Yes ma'am!! Ian is a puppy, lab come retriever mix who weighs about 26 lbs now with plenty more room to grow. Ian is about the fun...ALL about the fun! He has a great attitude, makes doggo friends with ease and LOVES to be in the mix of romping and rolling. Ian does great in his crate and is learning all kinds of important things at the farm but wants to continue learning when he goes home. An active home that allows him to get all of his puppy "ya-yas out would be ideal and he is sure to be happy to accompany you on any adventure! This pup is a sweet boy looking for some lab people who know that blondes always have more fun and want in on some of that for themselves!

Those eyes! That face! How on earth could anyone resist a boy like Ira we will never know but the good news is you don't have to resist, because this boy is looking for a home just like yours! Ira is a puppy, lab come retriever mix who is about 22lbs now with room to grow. Ira has been the life of the party at the farm with all of his doggo friends. He is active, smart and ready to learn anything you have to teach! Ira isn't one to shy away from new things as he is pretty confident for a puppy and will therefore be open to experiencing, exploring and building the life you want with him moving forward. Large or small family, bring it on because Ira just knows that furever for him will bring people who love him and who he can love right back!

Story
This pet was brought in as a stray and will NOT be available for adoption through our program. All stray animals brought in are posted on the gallery to hopefully be reunited with their families. Each pet is evaluated upon arrival, and throughout their stay, at the Animal Center and we do our best to place the animal in the setting most appropriate for them. Sometimes, they may be better served through one of our Transfer Partners due to the intervention needed, ongoing care required or a quieter setting for that individual. We want our animals to put their best paw forward. If you are a 501c3 rescue and are interested in partnering with WCAC to help this pet, and others, you can find more information on how to help at: https://www.wakegov.com/departments-government/animal-services/community-partners/transfer-program If this is your pet, please contact us immediately at AnimalCenter@wake.gov Primary Color: Red Gold Weight: 59 Age: 2yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
Bear is a beautiful golden retriever/lab mix. He is very friendly and has a mellow personality. He likes to be where his human friends are. He loves children and adults as well. He is a little over a year old and is house trained and crate trained. We love having him in our home, but my father recently passed away and my mother is allergic to dog hair and she needs our support at our home. We would love for Bear to go to a loving family that enjoys him as much as he would enjoy them! His crate and bed are included.
