Me and my shadow! If you remember that song, you’ll know how nice it is to have a friend you can count on! True to his name, Shadow will be your constant companion, always ready to be at your feet or right by your side. Shadow is a young lab/retriever mix of around 35lbs with lots of growing left to do. Goofy and ready for fun, he can be a little nervous when meeting new friends, but he lets his gentle personality lead the way and has shown he even gets along with cats. Quite the gentleman. He’s a smart boy that picks up on new tricks quickly and loves being outside for all things. If you’re looking for an adventure buddy who equally loves a snooze session at your feet, come out to Saving Grace to meet Shadow. *Sleepover feedback:"We have another dog at home, two cats and two small children under 7. He was slow to warm up to us but once he met our dog, he had much more confidence! Shadow did so well getting settled into the routines, he even served as a shining example of how to behave around new dogs on walks for our "not-so-calm" dog.Shadow does great on car rides and loves having a comfortable bed in the car to snuggle up in. He never had a mess in the house and appears to be potty trained already. Shadow slept great in his crate and didn't make a fuss over being crated overnight". *Additional feedback: " He is so calm and loves to lay in the sun but also up for playing with other pups or his humans.Shadow is quick to learn commands like sit and coming when called. His easy going attitude, good personality with other dogs, cats and kids make him a true joy to join any family"!

Just like his namesake from Christmas Vacation, Clark Griswold is full of heart—though this little guy is more calm and gentle than chaotic. Clark is a sweet soul who loves to chill. He’s still a baby and learning his puppy manners, so he’ll need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him grow into the best boy he can be. Clark is currently living with his sister, Stockings, an 8-year-old female black lab, and a 5-year-old human sister—and he does wonderfully with all of them. He’s respectful with the older dog, patient and gentle with the child, and shows a great foundation for being a well-rounded family pup. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted, easygoing puppy who’s ready to learn and give lots of love, Clark Griswold might just be your perfect match.
