Story
Meet Winger, a 10-year-old golden retriever–shepherd mix with all the charm and manners of a true gentleman. He’ll politely offer his paw in greeting and carry himself with a calm, dignified presence. At 65 pounds, Winger is happiest by your side—whether that’s relaxing on the sofa or snuggling in bed. Loyal and devoted, he takes his role as your protector seriously and prefers to stay close to his person. He’s fully potty trained, gets along well with other dogs (but doesn’t need one), and is respectful of cats. Easygoing, affectionate, and steady, Winger is truly the perfect gentleman.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   May 11, 2026, 11:13 pm

Story
We found Maggy in October while walking, shaved and skinny. We assume she was dumped. She has a microchip from Kentucky but no one has claimed her. She is almost 1. She loves tennis balls, snow, cuddles, jumping, and zooming. Maggy needs lots of attention and play. If she's left alone, she will find and get into anything she can to entertain her puppy brain. Further obedience training is needed. Not fully house trained, still prefers to poop indoors. Knows commands like “sit, paw, lay down” but struggles to always come when called. She is very smart and energetic. Loves walking with our other dog but struggles on lone walks, as she gets startled by dogs barking. Gets along with smaller dogs and cats. Unfortunately we cannot keep up the same amount of love and care we know Maggy deserves and we would love to find a new, happy home for her! We will give you her crate, toys, bowl, leash, and harness. Please consider this in relation to the adoption fee! Thank you so much.
