Story
Introducing Miss Honey! Honey is as sweet as her name. She is a 5-year-old spayed mini golden doodle, weighing around 40 lbs. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and is on monthly flea and tick and heartworm preventatives. While initially timid and unsure, after being allowed some time to feel safe and secure, she wants nothing more than to be exactly where her people are. She walks with a slack leash (as long as she’s with you), is doing great at going outside in the backyard to use the potty (as long as she is with you) and sleeps all night on her dog bed (as long as she’s next to you) Do you see the pattern here?! Honey is indifferent to cats, has been gentle with all children that she has interacted with and gets along with both our female and male dog, although she’s much happier with her people and would probably be just fine in a single dog home. Because of her desire to be with her human family, she does have separation anxiety when left alone. She would do best with a family that is home a lot and able to spend as much time with her as possible. She is not the biggest fan of her crate but is slowly adjusting to that as well. With some time and patience, Honey will be a great companion for her future family! Story
Hello, my name is: SandiDOB: 10/16/2017Sex/Breed: Spayed female Retriever mixWeight: 63 lbs, but is overweightRescued From: Overcrowded shelterIf resilience had a face, it would be Sandi’s.Her life was turned upside down when the human she knew her entire life sent her to live with a relative when they were no longer able to care for her. Then her new guardian passed away after just a year, and Sandi found herself in an overcrowded shelter; frightened and at risk of losing her life due to lack of space. Before then, she only knew the comfort of a home, so the harshness of the shelter was a huge shock. Thankfully, Sandi had a new angel looking after her, who pulled her from her concrete prison and gave her another chance. She was gravely overweight and needed some extra TLC. Now 35 lbs lighter, Sandi still has a little more progress to make, but she is healthier now and so ready to find her forever home! Her new family will need to be dedicated to the rest of her weight-loss journey and keep her feeling great. She’s always been part of a large pack but could enjoy being an “only child” and getting all the attention; she’ll fit right into any family composition just fine. She will need a home without cats. Watching this beautiful girl blossom and become more playful and comfortable has been such a joy! Sandi is house trained, has good manners in the home, and loves to please her people. Who will be lucky enough to love this sweet chocolate girl forever?? All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Oliver is a 3 year old neutered male goldendoodle who weighs 45 pounds. He was rescued as part of a cruelty case, and has never looked back. His tail had to be amputated and it is clear that he was abused, but he is starting his next chapter and lovinf life. He thrives with another dog to follow around, would prefer a fenced in yard due to trauma when it comes to a leash. Through everything, he has been so sweet and deserves to be spoiled rotten. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application on our website www.justice-rescue.com

Story
Meet Tracy and Stacy! Tracy and Stacy are 4-5 year old standard poodle/golden retriever mixes who were both saved from the same commercial breeding facility in Lancaster County. They came to us covered from head to toe in matted fur, like most puppy mill poodle mixes, but thanks to our wonderful grooming volunteers have had the pain and weight of those mats removed! They look beautiful and can have a fresh start in their new life! They faced years of abuse and neglect, but all of that is behind them, and we are excitedbto find them there happily ever after! They can be intially reserved, but are really starting to blossom and show their sweet and silly personalities in their foster home. We are confident they will make wonderful family members for any family who understands their past and gives them lots of love. These girls love one another, and would love to spend the rest of their days together. Please apply to be considered at our website www.angelsretreat.org! 💕🐾 Tracy and Stacy Quick Facts: -They are standard poodle sized, about 60-70 pounds -They would do best in a home without young children, though this is dependent on the children -They do have to go home together, but LOVE other dogs -Both walk beautifully on a leash, and do great on pack hikes! -They love people they knowand their foster mom describes them as her “loving shadow” -They are house trained!

Story
Imagine being a 50-pound bundle of energy, joy, and potential—with nowhere to go and no idea what it means to just be a dog. That was Roux’s reality for the first years of her life.   Roux is a stunning 2.5-year-old grey Goldendoodle who started life confined to a small apartment. She had little room to play, no yard to explore, and no canine companions to show her the ropes. The lack of exercise and mental stimulation left her with anxiety and uncertainty about the world outside four walls. When Roux was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue, she had never been spayed, had no idea how to enjoy freedom, and needed a new start.   Her second chance came on a farm, where she met wide open spaces, curious animals, and—most importantly—dogs who knew how to run, play, and explore. At first, Roux froze when faced with freedom. She didn't know what to do off-leash. But with time, patience, and the encouragement of her new playmates, something beautiful happened: Roux blossomed. The weight of her early confinement lifted, and a playful, affectionate, and spirited girl emerged.   Roux is now thriving with a body and spirit set free. She races through fields, bounds with joy, and embraces life with a sense of wonder. She’s still a little quirky—a reminder of the tough start she had—but with a kind, confident, and experienced dog-savvy family, Roux will continue to grow into the incredible companion she was always meant to be.   Roux’s Ideal Home:   A confident, playful dog buddy A large fenced yard to chase butterflies (and maybe her own tail)‍‍‍ A family with dog experience and a whole lotta love Okay with cats (she might boop them once or twice) Probably best in homes with kids over 8, just because she’s a bit bouncy   She’s ready for her forever home—somewhere she can finally be her best, happiest self.   Interested in adopting this gorgeous goofball? Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.       Roux is ready for a home that can continue unlocking her potential.  If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet girl, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    Let Roux show you how beautiful a second chance can be.  Trust us, once you meet he,  you won’t stop smiling.       :   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 21, 2025, 9:16 pm
