⭐️ Rhysand 🐾
“To the stars that listen, and the dreams that are answered” - Rhysand, ACOTAR
Rhysand, known as “Rhys,” is a 16 week old golden/lab mix that was pulled from death row in Etowah County. He reached “the good life” at his foster home, where he was ready to heal from sarcoptic mange and his heavy parasite load… only for him and his 2 siblings to break with parvo 24 hours later.
After a week long battle, two of his siblings fought hard but unfortunately didn’t make it, and one day his foster mom (who was sleeping with him on an air mattress every night) looked at him and realized that he was going to be the survivor. And survive, he did!❤️
Rhys had spent the time since he recovered being the puppy he always wanted to be. He is a wild child, as he deserves to be! He loves food, playing in the water, zoomies and other dogs. But his favorite animal is the kitten in his home, his best friend. They play HARD so while he is good with cats, he will only be a fit for a home with “dog cats.” 🐱
This handsome boy is crate trained, mostly house trained, and walks well on a leash. He loves to spend his days playing outside, chewing on a good bone (or shoe) and terrorizing the other dogs in the house 😆 he prefers to spend his weekends on the water! He is a boat dog and would likely be a great kayaking dog too. He loves to feel the wind in his ears and water on his paws 🐾
Rhysand is adored by his foster family, and they will only let him go to the most perfect family. He had the hardest start to his life, and deserves for the rest of it to be out of a fairytale. If you think your family can provide the adventure he deserves, please apply 👇🏼
