Story
Kobe is a 3.5-year-old Golden Retriever and Cocker Spaniel mix, about 50 lbs, with a sweet, playful spirit. I got him as a 4-month-old puppy as a birthday gift. He is energetic, loves walks, and gets along well with people and other animals. He knows basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, come, paw), though he sometimes gets too excited to listen right away. After a serious car accident and recently losing my job, I can no longer provide the care he deserves. He is up to date on his rabies vaccine and most of his shots. Kobe has never shown aggression just love and enthusiasm. He needs a home that can give him time, attention, and space to thrive. Rehoming him is difficult, but I know someone out there will give him the amazing life he deserves.

Story
Meet Maddie!Say hello to Maddie, a 10-month-old, 40 lb. (and still growing!) Lab mix who’s equal parts goofy, affectionate, and full of zoomies! With her playful energy and love of life, Maddie is looking for an active family ready to keep up with her enthusiasm—and maybe toss a toy or two (or ten) along the way.In her local foster home, she’s working hard on her house training, crate training, and leash walking. She`s a smart cookie with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Maddie could go to a home with kids 5+ and other young, playful dogs who don’t mind a new BFF. She has not been exposed to cats so the jury is out on whether she could safely live in a feline-friendly home. This outgoing girl believes every human is a friend and every dog is a playmate. Toys? Yes, please. Treats? Absolutely. Belly rubs? Don’t even think about skipping them. Due to her higher energy level, no apartments, please—she’d thrive in a home with space to run and people to play with. Her foster says, `This sweet little girl is a diamond in the rough. She is full of puppy exuberance and is ready for an active family life, but once she has all of her energy out, she is easy to train and extremely smart. She is very sweet and loves to play. She loves everyone and every dog she ever meets is her new friend toys are one of her favorite things besides affection and treats. She is absolutely adorable, super sweet very smart and is ready to make her way into some lucky families heart.`She is available for adoption by appointment in Hopkinton, MA. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Name: Oliver Age: 11 months (5/10/24) Breed: golden retriever mix Current size: 66 pounds  Size potential: 70-80 pounds Leash trained: yes Crate Trained: yes Potty trained: yes Kids: unknown Other animals: excellent! Unknown about cats though  Energy level: high!!  House or apartment: house for sure    Story/backgrounds: Oliver was adopted as a pup by a med student who didn’t have time or money to invest in him. He wanted to have Oliver euthanized instead of rehomed or left on streets. Owners claimed he was untrainable and food aggressive. He is absolutely trained and we show some slight food possessiveness when in kennel but not all the time.    Ideal home/family lifestyle: ideal home would be one with room to run and a family that has time to continue training him, taking him on long walks and keeping him busy. He does so well with other dogs and LOVES to play. He doesn’t stop! He is such a loving boy. He is also a very water loving dog so anyone that has a pool or loves to go out to lakes I highly bet he will want to go swimming!! ##2373565##

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Graham is a beautiful, big-hearted boy with a tail that never stops wagging and an energy level to match! This one-year-old, 80-pound Lab Retriever (Maybe Newfie) mix is the definition of joyful enthusiasm. Always ready to run, play, and chase his foster dog sibling around the yard, Graham thrives on activity and would be the perfect fit for a home that can keep up with his zest for life. While Graham is all about movement and fun, he also has a deeply sweet and affectionate side. After a good play session, he loves to stretch out at your feet, soaking up belly rubs and relaxing in your presence. His loyalty and love for his humans shine through in these quiet moments, making him a wonderful companion both during high-energy adventures and peaceful downtime. Graham is still mastering his training, including basic commands and leash manners, but he’s a smart boy who is eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement—especially if treats are involved! He’s mostly housetrained and keeps his crate clean, and although he may bark briefly when crated, he settles quickly with a toy or treat to keep him company. This happy pup gets along well with other dogs and even cats, although he prefers to take on the “alpha” role with other dogs in the home. He’s not aggressive—just confident and in charge—so a home with a laid-back canine companion could be a great match. He’s also wonderful in the car, riding quietly in a crate, ready to accompany you on your next road trip or outdoor adventure. Graham would do best in an active home with a fenced yard where he can safely run and burn off his youthful energy. Whether it's long walks, games of fetch, or simply chasing butterflies in the backyard, he’ll need regular physical and mental stimulation to be his happiest self. If you're looking for a loyal, energetic, and affectionate best friend who will stick by your side through every hike, play session, and cuddle break, Graham could be the perfect addition to your family. He’s a shining example of everything we love about Labs—joyful, loving, and ready for a lifetime of companionship.  Interested in adopting?
