One thing that really helped her come out of her shell? Another dog. We met Dirk through a breeder near Houston TX and brought him home in March 2020, right at the time we learned that my wife and I would be working from home for the foreseeable future. This uninterrupted time together probably fed Dirk’s love for and attachment to any and all people. Dirk is 6 years old but still energetic and playful. He loves to go on walks and play catch in the yard. Dirk is a big boy, at 90+ pounds. An ideal home for Dirk has plenty of space for him to move with people that love to play and love giving him attention.

I’m also great at entertaining myself and can play independently when needed. I love kids and enjoy being around them. I’m gentle, friendly, and love the extra attention and playtime they bring. I’m also very smart, curious, and eager to learn (that Border Collie side of me!). I’m affectionate and love belly rubs and cuddles. I’m fully potty-trained and doing really well with my manners.
