Story
Hi! My name is Jill. I am a really adorable girl, and I am just looking for my furever home! I am 12 weeks old (born around 1/7/24), weigh about 12 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am doing so well with all of them in my foster home in South Carolina! I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for my age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $650, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport within the next two weeks, if my new family lives in the northeast USA. ***PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO ADOPT WITHIN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS**** Please visit https://www.apply.daybeforetherainbow.com/ to fill out an adoption application form or email my rescue at taryn@daybeforetherainbow.com! Thanks for checking me out!

Story
From tragedy to triumph, Tuna Doodle Casserole’s journey is the epitome of inspiration! After being subjected to a life of starvation and torture, his ‘owners’ decided they didn’t want him anymore. They threw him in their car and dared to bring him to the local shelter in horrific and heartbreaking conditions. Despite facing abandonment, mistreatment, and severe neglect, Tuna has proven to be one of the most resilient pups who overcame the toughest odds with a wagging tail and a heart full of love! While his past may have been ruff, Tuna's future is bright and filled with endless possibilities! Now, with a twinkle in his eye and a bounce in his step, Tuna is ready to embrace the warmth of a loving family. His playful nature and boundless energy make him the paw-fect companion for anyone seeking adventure and love. Whether it's a leisurely stroll in the park or a sprint around the block, Tuna is always up for some tail-wagging fun! With a heart as big as his appetite for life, Tuna is eager to shower his forever family with cuddles, kisses, and unconditional affection. Although he's not quite fond of feline friends, Tuna's love for humans knows no bounds! He's a social butterfly who thrives on companionship and cherishes every moment spent with his beloved hoomans. So, if you're ready to open your heart and home to a furry friend who's brimming with joy and zest for life, then Tuna is the doggo for you! He’s ready to embark on this pawsome journey in his new life and make every day an adventure to remember. Tuna is 2 years old and 45 lbs. He is vetted, neutered, and chipped. Story
Meet Dahlia! Dahlia is a 2 to 4 years old Golden Doodle that weighs 44 pounds. Dahlia truly could not be any sweeter or more docile. She is pretty shy meeting people for the first time but really all she wants is to be hugged or held and loved until she opens up a bit. Dahlia does wonderful in a crate and has been doing really well with saving potty time for outside but may still need a little more work with that. She will walk on a leash with patience and persuasion but needs some help feeling confident in her surrounding on a leash. Dahlia does great with all of the friends she has met including kids and dogs of all sizes and age, and even does well with the cats! Dahlia tested positive for lyme disease and anaplasmosis and she has been the recommended process for both immediately following the results. She also had detailed lab work sent in which was unremarkable. Dahlia had a dental cleaning at her recent vet visit. Interested in becoming a forever home for Dahlia? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Dahlia. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Dahlia the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
