Huge and precious. -Rides great in the car and hops in and out with ease— -Loves his walks and would make the perfect walking or hiking buddy— -Takes treats gently and leans in for affection like a true lovebug - May pull a bit at first on leash (so many exciting smells! ) but settles nicely  -Still learning basic commands, but listens well and truly wants to please Sampson may not know “sit” or “down” yet, but he absolutely knows how to love with his whole heart. With patience, guidance, and consistency, this big goofball is going to be an incredible companion. Older kids just due to his size. My favorite place to sleep: On the sofa, a dog bed or human bed or under the bed My favorite activity is: Playing fetch with squeaky balls and playing with my toys My favorite snack is: Anything I can get my mouth on I get along with / like: Being Alone I do not get along with / like: Big Dogs, Little Dogs, Cats, Birds I'm scared of: New people, it takes some time for me to warm up My foster parent(s) describe me as: I'm a shy girl but loving to my person. I'm happy and I have a wiggle butt!! I do need to be in a home as an ONLY dog. I'm ok with dogs outside of my home, but definitely no small dogs. I have a small growth on one of my mammaries that has been tested and is benign. Be sure to be diligent about picking up my poop right away, or I will eat it! My best day would be to: Getting to run and play for hours with a human whose arm never gets tired. Then nap for a few. Taking a nice walk and stopping to smell everything. Other tidbits about me: I am looking for my forever home with people who I can bond with. I'm a bit shy with people and need time to warm up to them. I'm pretty active for a Great Dane.
