Story
Hi I`m Gnocchi!I’m a young gal with a soft heart and the cutest little face (if I do say so myself). I might be a bit shy when we first meet—I’m still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place—but if you give me a little time and patience, I promise I’ll blossom into the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ask for. I love gentle affection, cozy naps, and calm, reassuring energy. Fast movements and loud noises? Not really my vibe. But quiet cuddles, slow walks, and treats? Yes, please! If you already have a dog at home, that’s great—but I’ll need to meet them first to make sure we’ll be good friends. I’m still figuring out my dog-to-dog manners, and some furry encouragement could go a long way. I’m looking for someone kind and patient, who will let me come out of my shell at my own pace. If you think you might be my person, I’d love to meet you.No appointment necessary!Meet me at AAWL`s Main Shelter!25 N. 40th StPhoenix AZ 85034602-273-6852Adoption Hours:Monday - ClosedTuesday - Friday & Sunday - 11:30am - 6:00pmSaturday - 10:30am - 6:00pm.AAWL requires that all adopted dogs leave with a leash and collar and all cats leave in a carrier.

Story
**This is a courtesy listing for Frosted Faces Vintage Paws Animal Rescue** Meet Raisin- the BIG dog with a tiny name. :-) Raisin is approximately two to three-years-old and weighs a whopping 115 pounds! We had him DNA tested, and he is over 50% Great Dane: 54% Great Dane, 17% Bullmastiff, 13% American Staffordshire Terrier, 11% American Pit Bull Terrier, 2% Rottweiler, 2% German Shepherd, and 1% Mastiff. Raisin came to the rescue because he was actually tied up outside of the shelter door with his bed and food. We don't know much about Raisin's past, but we do know he is presently a BIG love-bug! Raisin is full of affection and energy. He will need a family who is able to provide him with the space and outlet for his energy that his size/breed will require. Raisin is leash-trained but a strong boy and pulls on the leash when excited. He is working on his basic manners and knows "sit" and "paw" for a treat; he would love to learn more! Raisin is sweet with his human friends and loves back scratches and pets. He does the classic "Dane lean" where he leans against people he likes. Raisin is social with other dogs he's met so far and loves to run and play. He is also just as happy sniffing around the yard on his own. He could be a great buddy for your dog at home, or a great only-dog, all for you! Please only apply for adoption if you are a fan of slobber and schnoodle- because Raisin has plenty of both! ;-) Raisin's adoption fee includes neuter surgery, vaccinations up to date including Rabies certificate, and microchip. Email chitownrescue@gmail.com for more information/meet and greet appointment.November 5, 2025, 3:07 am

Story
All the rescues in the valley are drowning in families of animals being turned in. The Alliance is experiencing the same thing. So, we voted to start a Puppy Fund. As it is, we are already over twelve hundred dollar$ in the red with the young ones & babies we have in rescue (vet visit, vaccines, vitamins, medications, food, puppy toys, trainer etc). We just hired a trainer for one of our pups as he is such a stubborn lil guy! Good grief!!! 😆And we have more waiting to come in. PLEASE HELP!!!! If you can help out with a donation to the "Puppy Fund" it will be such a blessing and sooooo very much appreciated. This way, we won't need to post every time we need funds for the wee ones and their special care or their mamas. Mamas' care is expensive! Just scroll down our website homepage to the big brown button "Donate" https://greatdanerescueofazalliance.com/ TY dane family. ❤️❤️❤️

Story
My favorite place to sleep: On the sofa, a dog bed or human bed or under the bed My favorite activity is: Playing fetch with squeaky balls and playing with my toys My favorite snack is: Anything I can get my mouth on I get along with / like: Being Alone I do not get along with / like: Big Dogs, Little Dogs, Cats, Birds I'm scared of: New people, it takes some time for me to warm up My foster parent(s) describe me as: I'm a shy girl but loving to my person. I'm happy and I have a wiggle butt!! I do need to be in a home as an ONLY dog. I'm ok with dogs outside of my home, but definitely no small dogs. I have a small growth on one of my mammaries that has been tested and is benign. Be sure to be diligent about picking up my poop right away, or I will eat it! My best day would be to: Getting to run and play for hours with a human whose arm never gets tired. Then nap for a few. Taking a nice walk and stopping to smell everything. Other tidbits about me: I am looking for my forever home with people who I can bond with. I'm a bit shy with people and need time to warm up to them. I'm pretty active for a Great Dane. I have a one-track mind especially when I'm playing. I'm treat and toy motivated. If you are interested in seeing Opal, please visit www.regaldanerescue.com and complete an application.

Story
Apollo is a very sweet and mild-mannered dog. He is not a barker unless he senses danger close by. He sleeps a ton, as most bully breeds do. He is house trained and is great wish people and kids. Apollo does require ear cleaning once a week which is a very simple 3 minute job. He loves walks and affection. He needs a bath once a week with a special shampoo (which we purchase on amazon) or he will begin to get itchy. The only other thing is he gets anxious with fireworks and does not like to be left alone during fireworks. My wife and were promoted in our jobs and do not have the time to give him the attention that he needs and deserves. He truly is a wonderful dog. We rescued him last year and hate to rehome him but we want him to have a better life. If you meet him once, you will love him.
