Please say hello to Molly! This sweet gal had a rough start in life as she was neglected then abandoned. She was found and nursed back to health after the cactus needles were removed from her sweet face. (pic with muzzle full of white spots where needles were removed.) A nurturing, loving woman fought to keep this gal alive & restore her to good health. Sadly, the family's older german shep decided the dane needs to leave. So... here is our new girl, Molly, looking for a family to call her own. Will that be you? She has been around other dogs who like her! She has also been with a cat (see pic!). Her leash manners are rusty! She is crate trained but can be left alone in the home when you are not home. She is an accomplished couch potato!!! She is about 6 yrs old and just a sweetheart of a dane. She loves car rides and traveling. All the rescues in the valley are drowning in families of animals being turned in. The Alliance is experiencing the same thing. So, we voted to start a Puppy Fund. As it is, we are already over twelve hundred dollar$ in the red with the young ones & babies we have in rescue (vet visit, vaccines, vitamins, medications, food, puppy toys, trainer etc). We just hired a trainer for one of our pups as he is such a stubborn lil guy! Good grief!!! 😆And we have more waiting to come in. PLEASE HELP!!!! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.My name is King  and I am 4 years old. My foster mom says I am such a good boy! I am crate trained- actually, I love my crate... it is my safe place. I know a couple of basic commands, and have been working on leaving kitchen counters alone. I just love all the smells! I don't mind walking on a leash, but I often forget that I walk faster than my foster mom and she has to remind me not to pull. Sometimes, my foster mom even lets me explore the front yard without a leash! Oh, and car rides are my favorite! I jump right up in and lay down like a good boy.  I LOVE the car! I'm a pretty confident guy, but I AM a little scared of the vacuum... and the hot air balloons I sometimes see in the sky from the backyard.  I have a hooman foster sister (she's 11) and I like her even more than my foster mom. I follow her everywhere and sleep next to her bed most nights. I also have a foster brother... he's a Great Dane like me. I find him annoying a lot of the time- he has so much dang energy and I prefer to lay around. We don't always get along but I have learned to tolerate him pretty well, I think! I have hung out around our neighbor's small Yorkie too, and I don't mind her one bit. But hoomans are by far my favorite! I like to lean on them and sit with/on them.
