Meet our boy Charlie! He was pulled just in time before he was planned to be euthanized. He has the Great Dane personality traits of being a gentle giant, love bug and very sensitive. We have been doing slow introductions with him to other dogs and he is learning to be confident and how to be a dog. Although we don't know much about his past we do know that he has been adjusting to city life with noises and a lot more action than where he was found. He walks great on a leash and we are working on basic commands. Charlie can be stubborn at times and will need a little coaxing to get moving especially when its time to go potty outside in the rain. We think the best home for him would be with a family with older children that likes to go out for walks. He would do great in a home with other calmer dogs or as the one and only! We recently learned through an echocardiogram that Charlie has been diagnosed with what we think is mild DCM. His heart was recently re-evaluated and he is doing great! No restrictions on activities or zoomies. However we are taking precautions with heart meds and additional supplements to ensure that we keep him healthy and his next evaluation will be in 9 months. Don't let this sweet boy pass you by.

Oliver is a very loving Great Dane. He is very laid back and mostly lounges around the house. He enjoys playing fetch and tug of war. Oliver loves to be near his people and is happiest when receiving love and affection. He can be quite stubborn at times, consistency and persistence go a long way. Our lives have become too busy for us to give him the life he deserves. I'm hoping to find him a loving home where he will get all the hugs and pets he deserves. He has had a few bite incidents. The trigger for the bites were when someone was trying to make him move when he didn't want to. Aside from one incident when an elderly woman was petting his face and he snapped at her, not biting, but his tooth scratched the skin on her hand. During these bite incidents he did not growel or give any warning signs prior to the bite.

Venus was acquired as a puppy. She is 4 years old and was born in June 2020. We are looking for a loving new home where she has a big yard to run around in. She is used to sleeping inside the home, so it would be great if the new family doesn’t mind having her inside the home. Some adjectives to describe her is energetic, playful, and protective of family members. She loves attention. Venus is a very loving pet and would love a home that can give her a lot of attention and time. We cannot keep her anymore because my son has developed chronic allergies. Demi and her brother were found by a passerby on the road in a box. Luckily, she rescued them in time and did reach out for someone to help them. They went directly to one of our experienced bottle baby raising fosters. Their estimated DOB is October 11th, 2024. These puppies have been raised in an experienced foster home since the age of approximately 5 days old and are now super happy, healthy, playful and social puppies. As always, we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to insure a well behaved and well-rounded puppy/dog. The adoption fee is $650 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed). This is Rufus. He will be 2 years old on November. He is a very excited puppy that needs a good adopter to have a nice yard or able to take to the dog park. Because he is a puppy he eats quite a bit. He is a yard dog so there was no need to bathe him as much. We cannot take Rufus to the dog park to let off his energy and we have made the decision that our current schedule does not fit with his and would rather someone else take the time to help him get what he very much deserves. And that’s being an active pup as he should be. It hurts that we want him but cannot let him suffer to enjoy being a puppy.
