Story
Cane is one of mama Jade’s puppies we rescued from a homeless encampment in San Pedro, and he’s grown into the most perfect little 5-month-old Great Dane x Pit bull mix. He’s got a giant heart, a goofy streak, and the confidence of a dog twice his size. He currently lives with four dogs (10–50 lbs) and loves every one of them — wrestling, zoomies, tug, toy swapping… if there’s fun involved, Cane’s front and center. He’s also fully potty trained (at just 4 months!) and shares his home with three cats, who he treats with total respect. Cane melts for attention and will happily curl up in bed right next to his humans — his absolute favorite spot in the world. He’s silly, confident, and bursting with personality. Not shy for even a second, he truly believes every dog and every person is a friend waiting to happen. Playful, snuggly, social, and unbelievably well-mannered for his age, Cane is the whole package — and he’s ready to bring nonstop joy and laughter to his forever family. She even brought a stick as a peace offering. It is amazing to see Maggie still has complete faith in humanity despite of surviving from Mass Dog Slaughterhouse. Maggie will love you whether you live in a little trailer or a big house. No matter what kind of mood you are in, Maggie can always make you smile. Can you be a special someone to give Maggie a home?

Story
Meet Jingle Name: Jingle DOB: April 23, 2025 Current Weight: 45 pounds (medium sized dog) Health: Healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed Jingle is a sweet, soulful young girl with a gentle sparkle in her eyes and a heart full of love waiting to be shared. She has a thoughtful, affectionate nature and a playful curiosity that makes her a joy to be around. Whether she’s quietly observing the world or happily joining in on the fun, Jingle brings warmth, calm, and happiness wherever she goes. Personality Jingle is affectionate, attentive, and deeply people-oriented. She loves being near her humans and thrives on reassurance, praise, and connection. She has a soft, loving side that shows during cuddle time and a playful, energetic side that comes out during walks, games, and exploration. She’s eager to learn, responsive to guidance, and already showing signs of becoming a loyal, devoted companion.   This intelligent and athletic mix offers the perfect balance of brains and heart. Smart, alert, and eager to learn Loyal and bonds closely with their family Active and thrives with both physical and mental stimulation Does best with routine, structure, and positive reinforcement Expected to be medium to large in size once fully grown This breed mix is ideal for adopters who enjoy engagement, training, and building a strong human–dog bond. Owner Responsibilities Jingle will need: Daily exercise and enrichment to keep her happy and balanced Continued training with patience and positive reinforcement Consistency, routine, and gentle leadership Plenty of time, love, and inclusion as part of the family She is still growing emotionally and physically and will flourish most with an adopter committed to guiding her through puppyhood and adolescence. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before Adopting Before bringing Jingle home, please thoughtfully consider: Your time and ability to commit to training and companionship Your living situation, including landlord approval and space Long-term plans such as moving, work changes, or travel The financial responsibility of food, vet care, training, and enrichment The reality of adopting a young dog who is still learning and growing Adoption is a lifelong promise — not just for today, but for every stage of her life. Vet Care Although Jingle is healthy, vaccinated, and spayed, adopters should schedule a visit with their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption to establish care and support a smooth transition. The 3-3-3 Rule (Very Important!) First 3 days: Jingle may feel overwhelmed as she adjusts to new sights, sounds, and people — patience and reassurance are essential. First 3 weeks: She’ll begin learning your routine, building confidence, and understanding what it means to belong. First 3 months: Trust deepens, her true personality shines, and she’ll know she is finally home. This adjustment period is normal and requires time, consistency, and love. Why Jingle Will Be an Amazing Addition Jingle is the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your heart and stays there forever. She’s loving, loyal, and eager to grow alongside her person. With guidance, patience, and commitment, she will become a devoted companion — one who offers comfort, joy, and unwavering love every single day. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a bright, affectionate young dog and commit to a lifetime together, Jingle is ready to meet you &#226&#156&#168   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Story
Barney is a beautiful 2-year-old Great Dane mix. Barney is a sweetheart who was sadly abandoned at a local dog park by his owner. Due to that, Barney is definitely a shy guy and takes a minute to warm up to other humans, but once he does, there is no escape from the love-fest you are about to receive! Barney LOVES any and all dogs. Other dogs seem to comfort him and give him a sense of familiarity and happiness. Barney is a true gentleman and love bug, so if you're ready to shower this pup with kisses, then Barney is the dog for you.  This is a courtesy post. If you are interested in this cutie, please contact Big Love Animal Rescue and/or fill out an application on their website https://bigloveanimalrescue.org/available-dogs/January 9, 2026, 4:09 pm
