Story
Sara and Brooke are two very bonded girls who are looking for a home together. They MUST be near each other for them to live their lives to the fullest. After being found in two different locations as strays within a few days of each other we felt certain they would know each other, and they did. The reunion was so heartwarming to see the love they have for each other. We believe that Sara is the mom to Brooke. Sara is around 5 years old and Brooke was estimated to be about a year old. If you are a Great Dane lover than you know the amount of love these two could give you. Both girls are in foster care together with one of our amazing fosters. House and crate trained, kid friendly, dog friendly, a fenced in yard is required for them and they learning new skills and manners each day along with building trust again with humans.  If you are interested in two GIANT lovebugs then Brooke and Sara are for you. Please apply to adopt at buttsmutts.com. ##2120387##

Story
Kunta is a playful and loving 3y/o dog. We rescued him when he was 4 months old and he fit right in with our family. He is good with other dogs and was raised around our now 15y/o Boston Terrier. We are needing to re-home him due to us getting custody of our grandson, who is a toddler, and having to downsize our home.

Dude is a chill dude who wants to cuddle up with you! He was surrendered and almost euthanized but the vet  refused to put him to sleep and called the rescue. He has no known vices.  Age: 1 year  Weight: 65lbs   Vetting: neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.   Location: Colquitt, GA (3 hours away) but rescuer willing to conduct meetups in Atlanta   Contact for questions: janastoker@yahoo.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.  September 13, 2024, 12:18 pm

Story
This is Tuxedo a.k.a Tuxe. He is a Great Dane mixed. His birthday is July 9th 2023. He would love a home with another dog and someone who would have time to take him for walks and car rides. He does do well with children. He is house trained and listens to commands like sit and stay ect. He needs time to adjust and warm up to new environments. He was boarded at a vet facility for a week and when I went to pick him up he was very stressed and was aggressive some and on guard and never wanted to go back into that vet care again. He didn’t want to take baths and he was afraid of small strings. I assume they abused him during his stay there. He seems to be afraid of adult males and needs to be slowly introduced and it takes a little while for him to trust them . He seems to be more comfortable with an adult female owner. Although he has stayed with relatives both male and female and he did warm up to them and became comfortable. It just takes some time and slowly getting him use to other people. He is up to date with all vaccines. He is very loving and he is a verbal dog and well let you know if something is wrong and if he wants to go outside or just wants to play. He is very playful. He loves to play with other dogs and go for walks. He loves attention and hugs and kisses. He loves to sleep with you and cuddle. My circumstances won’t allow me to keep him right now. My family and I would love to keep him. If someone is willing to foster him until I can find a house then I will come back and get him. I am willing to provide all food and vet cost and even come and visit if someone is willing to help. thank you, Lataya Bell contact:   Lataya Bell soambitious09@yahoo.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 15, 2024, 10:19 pm
