Story
Hello Everyone, My name is Arthur and I’m a 7 mo old adorable Great Dane puppy who is as sweet as can be. I am looking for my happily ever after. I was confiscated due to poor living conditions and I’m now enjoying life with my foster family as I wait for my forever family. Investing your time and love into me will be so worth it!! I am an absolute sweetheart. I’m a bit shy at first but we are working on that. I am a sweet, loving and smart lil boy who just wants a loving family. I will need a little time, confidence building, love and patience adjusting to my new home. I am good with children and other animals. Please add a lotta unconditional love, sloppy kisses, tail wags and endless happiness to your family and contact jbrescuerangers@yahoo.com for an adoption application and bring me home. I will come with the works (neutered, up to date on everything, micro chipped, fecal, heart worm tested, monthly heartworm, flea and tick prevented, a free vet visit and medical insurance). What more could a new family ask for? Love and Kisses, Arthur

Story
Hi, I’m Paprika and I’m ready to find my forever home!  Dog’s Name: Paprika Location: New Smyrna Beach, FL Date of Birth: 1/20/2020 Gender: Female Breed: Great Dane Color: Black Dog's Weight: 149 Adoption Fee: Fully Sponsored! Gets along with: Dogs?: Paprika is dog selective and has made excellent progress learning to remain calm and disengage around other dogs with guidance. She would do best as an only dog or with very thoughtful, slow introductions to a calm, well-matched dog under experienced supervision. Cats?:  Paprika has shown calm curiosity around safely contained cats and has been able to disengage appropriately. She has not been evaluated with free-roaming cats, so any introductions would need to be slow, structured, and carefully supervised. Kids?:  An adult home or one with older, respectful teenagers would be the best fit for Paprika. Training: Leash trained: Walks loose on leash Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Rides well in the car Meet Paprika Paprika is a beautiful 149-pound Great Dane with a gentle heart, a curious mind, and—according to her foster—a wonderful sense of humor. Paprika is a sensitive, intelligent, and affectionate Great Dane who is learning to navigate the world with growing confidence. This thoughtful girl likes to take in the world before jumping into something new. Give Paprika a moment to observe, decide everything is okay, and look to her person for guidance, and you'll begin to see the affectionate, deeply loyal companion hiding behind those soulful Great Dane eyes. Paprika thrives in a calm, structured environment where routines are predictable and expectations are clear, helping her feel comfortable and confident in her surroundings.  And Paprika has been blossoming. In foster care, she has made tremendous progress building her confidence. She now greets familiar visitors with increasing ease, checks in with her handler when she is unsure, and is learning that new people and experiences can be safe. She loves treats, responds beautifully to praise, and genuinely wants to make good choices. Paprika responds well to cues like “let’s go” and “touch”. While she can be sensitive to sudden movements, close proximity, or new situations, she is learning to recover more quickly with calm, consistent guidance and reassurance. Paprika is dog-selective and still in training. She can be reactive (barking or lunging) when dogs are too close or if she is surprised, but she is showing steady improvement. At a distance, she is able to observe calmly, disengage, and respond to cues. She is not currently appropriate for direct dog interactions, but she is learning to stay regulated and composed around other dogs. Paprika enjoys her daily walks, exploring her dog run, and putting that giant Dane nose to work investigating every interesting scent she can find. She is a world-class sniffer who seems to believe every smell deserves proper research. At home, Paprika loves being close to her people. After a walk or a little training, she is happy to settle onto her bed, relax, and enjoy a quiet evening with her family. She forms deep bonds with the people she trusts and truly wants to be part of everyday life. Paprika may occasionally alert her people when she notices something new—she takes her neighborhood observation duties seriously—but she has made remarkable progress. Instead of rushing to investigate, she is learning to stay in place, look to her handler, and recover more quickly when something catches her attention. Her ideal home is calm, structured, and predictable. Paprika thrives when expectations are clear, routines are consistent, and positive reinforcement is part of everyday life. She would love someone who enjoys neighborhood walks, quiet time in the yard, and evenings relaxing together. Paprika would do best as an only dog or with very thoughtful introductions to a calm, well-matched canine companion. An adult home or one with older, respectful teenagers would be her best fit. Paprika isn't looking for someone to "fix" her. She has already done so much of the hard work of learning to trust, build confidence, and navigate the world differently. She's looking for someone who will see the dog she has become, celebrate how far she has come, and continue showing her that she is safe. In return, Paprika will give you something incredibly special—a deep, loyal bond with a gentle giant who wants nothing more than to be close to her person and part of the family. If you're looking for an intelligent, affectionate, soulful Great Dane and don't mind sharing your life with a 149-pound professional sniffer and neighborhood observer, Paprika may be waiting for you. Story
Hi, I’m Snoop and I’m ready to find my forever home! • Dog’s Name: Snoop• Location: Wilmington, IL• Date of Birth: 7/1/25• Gender: Male• Breed: Great Dane• Color: Harlequin• Dog's Weight: 88 (currently underweight but gaining nicely) Gets along with:• Dogs?: Dog friendly with proper introductions. Snoop enjoys playful interactions with other dogs. Due to his large size and enthusiastic play style, he would do best with a confident dog companion who enjoys big-dog play. Slow introductions recommended.• Cats?: No cats recommended. Snoop has a high chase drive and would do best in a cat-free home.• Kids?: Older/larger children recommended due to his size and playful Dane energy. Training: • Leash Trained: Working on leash skills and continued training• Crate Trained: Has done well seeing another dog through a crate; additional crate details unknown• Potty Trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents• Car: Loves car rides! A seatbelt leash or barrier is recommended because this big guy likes being close to his people and may try to help navigate from the front seat. Meet Snoop! Snoop is a stunning Great Dane with a giant heart and a personality just as big as he is! Snoop is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being with his people. He has met many new friends and has won them over with his friendly greetings, loving personality, and Dane-sized kisses. He is the kind of dog who bonds closely with his humans and enjoys being part of the family. This handsome guy has that classic Great Dane charm — goofy, loving, playful, and sometimes unaware of just how big he really is! Snoop approaches life with enthusiasm and would thrive with a family who understands giant breeds and can continue helping him learn his manners. Snoop is very food motivated (which makes training much easier!) and is already catching on quickly to commands like “sit.” He is eager to please and will benefit from a family that provides consistency, structure, and positive guidance. When it comes to dog friends, Snoop enjoys meeting other dogs but brings a lot of playful energy. He would do best with a confident canine companion who appreciates an enthusiastic playmate. Smaller or timid dogs may find his giant-sized excitement a little overwhelming. Snoop is not recommended for a home with cats, as they are just a little too exciting for him. After recovering from his recent medical care, Snoop is feeling better, gaining weight, and getting ready for his fresh start. Now he just needs the right family to help him become the amazing companion he is meant to be. If you love Great Danes and are looking for a goofy, affectionate, oversized best friend with so much love to give… Snoop might just be your guy. Story
Hi, I’m CC and I’m ready to find my forever home!  Dog’s Name: CC Location: Fort Atkinsom, WI Date of Birth: 6/08/2025 Gender: Female  Breed: Great Dane Color: Blue Merle Dog's Weight: 77 Gets along with: Dogs?: All dogs Cats?:  All cats Kids?: All kids Training: Leash Trained: Walks loose leash Crate Trained: Goes to crate/kennel on command Potty Trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Rides well in car Meet CC CC — a stunning blue merle Great Dane with a playful spirit, a heart full of love, and just the right amount of sass. At just around a year old, CC is still very much an oversized puppy. She approaches life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a toy in her mouth whenever possible. Toss her a ball or hand her a stuffed toy, and you've instantly become one of her favorite people. She has plenty of puppy energy but also settles nicely into a routine, making her a wonderful balance of fun and companionship. CC's story began with uncertainty after she was found as a stray in Arkansas. Despite her rough start, she hasn't let her past define her. She's incredibly sweet, eager to bond with her people, and ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family of her own. This beautiful girl is potty trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, and walks nicely on a loose leash. She listens well, responds to correction, and is eager to please. Like many young dogs, she's still polishing her manners and would benefit from continued training to learn basic commands such as sit and down. Her excitement can sometimes get the best of her, especially around children, and she may jump up to say hello, but she's making great progress with consistency. CC enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those with calm, respectful personalities. She can be hesitant around pushy or overly energetic dogs, likely because she had to compete for resources earlier in life. She would do well with a mellow canine companion or would be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only princess. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown. One of CC's funniest quirks is that while she loves going places, she sometimes needs a little encouragement to get into the car. Once she's inside, though, she's the perfect passenger and often spends the ride peacefully napping. CC would make a wonderful companion for a first-time giant breed owner who understands the commitment of raising a young giant breed dog. She doesn't require a fenced yard but will need regular exercise, continued training, and plenty of opportunities to play. Most of all, she wants a family who will love her, include her in everyday life, and appreciate her goofy, affectionate personality. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with model-worthy looks, puppy charm, and a heart ready to love, Miss CC is waiting to meet you.
