Story
Hello Everyone, My name is Arthur and I’m a 7 mo old adorable Great Dane puppy who is as sweet as can be. I am looking for my happily ever after. I was confiscated due to poor living conditions and I’m now enjoying life with my foster family as I wait for my forever family. Investing your time and love into me will be so worth it!! I am an absolute sweetheart. I’m a bit shy at first but we are working on that. I am a sweet, loving and smart lil boy who just wants a loving family. I will need a little time, confidence building, love and patience adjusting to my new home. I am good with children and other animals. Please add a lotta unconditional love, sloppy kisses, tail wags and endless happiness to your family and contact jbrescuerangers@yahoo.com for an adoption application and bring me home. I will come with the works (neutered, up to date on everything, micro chipped, fecal, heart worm tested, monthly heartworm, flea and tick prevented, a free vet visit and medical insurance). What more could a new family ask for? Love and Kisses, Arthur

Hi, I’m Wilma and I’m ready to find my forever home! • Dog’s Name: Wilma• Location: McHenry, IL• Age: 5 years• Gender: Female• Breed: Great Dane• Dog's Weight: 84 lbs Gets along with:• Dogs?: All dogs• Cats?: Yes• Kids?: All kids Training:• Leash Trained: Walks loose leash• Crate Trained: Goes to crate/kennel on command• Potty Trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn't have indoor accidents• Car: Rides well in car Meet Wilma! Wilma is the definition of a gentle giant. She is a true Velcro girl who loves being near her people and will happily follow her favorite human from room to room with a wagging tail. If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be part of everything you do, Wilma may be your perfect match. One thing is certain about Wilma—she absolutely adores people and believes every person she encounters should stop and say hello. Whether she's meeting visitors, greeting people on a walk, or relaxing at home with her family, Wilma is always ready to make a new friend. Wilma has settled beautifully into her foster home and quickly became part of the pack. She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities and has been non-reactive to every dog she has encountered. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys playful interactions with her foster siblings and would likely love having a canine companion in her forever home. This sweet girl is also cat-friendly, kid-friendly, and incredibly easygoing. She walks beautifully on a loose leash, rides great in the car, settles quietly in her crate, and is calm and polite in the house. In fact, her foster family says she is so quiet they have not heard her bark yet! Wilma would do well with either a first-time giant breed owner or someone with breed experience. While she could likely thrive as an only dog in a home where her people are around most of the time, she may especially enjoy having doggie siblings to help build her confidence. Because she loves companionship so much, her ideal home would be one where she can spend plenty of time with her people. Wilma does not appear to have had much formal obedience training and currently doesn't know basic commands, but she is eager to be with her people and will benefit from continued training and guidance. She is more motivated by affection and companionship than food, making praise and quality time some of her favorite rewards. If you're looking for a loving, affectionate Great Dane who wants nothing more than to be your shadow and best friend, Wilma is ready to meet you. Story
Hi, I’m Paprika and I’m ready to find my forever home!  Dog’s Name: Paprika Location: New Smyrna Beach, FL Date of Birth: 1/20/2020 Gender: Female Breed: Great Dane Color: Black Dog's Weight: 130 Gets along with: Dogs?: MUST utilize a slow introduction with dogs Cats?:  None Kids?:  Unknown Training: Leash trained: Walks loose on leash Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Startles easily, but rides Well in car once she settles in Meet Paprika Paprika is a sensitive, intelligent, and affectionate Great Dane who is learning to navigate the world with growing confidence. She is a thoughtful and observant girl who forms strong bonds with her people and enjoys being close, often relaxing nearby once she feels safe and secure. Paprika thrives in a calm, structured environment where routines are predictable and expectations are clear, helping her feel comfortable and confident in her surroundings. She is very trainable and has already been making wonderful progress. Paprika responds well to cues like “let’s go” and “touch,” shows great check-in behavior, and is learning how to disengage from things that may initially make her unsure. While she can be sensitive to sudden movements, close proximity, or new situations, she is learning to recover more quickly with calm, consistent guidance and reassurance. Paprika is dog-selective and still in training. She can be reactive (barking or lunging) when dogs are too close or if she is surprised, but she is showing steady improvement. At a distance, she is able to observe calmly, disengage, and respond to cues. She is not currently appropriate for direct dog interactions, but she is learning to stay regulated and composed around other dogs. Paprika does best with a balanced routine that includes short walks, structured outings, and plenty of downtime. After activity or training, she settles in nicely and enjoys relaxing on her bed or quietly near her people. She would do best in a quieter home with a patient adopter who understands her need for consistency and is committed to continuing her confidence-building journey. With time, structure, and gentle leadership, Paprika will blossom into an incredibly loyal, loving, and rewarding companion. Story
Hi, I’m Griffin and I’m ready to find my forever home!  Dog’s Name: Griffin Location: Evansville, IN Date of Birth: 5/20/2022 Gender: Male  Breed: Great Dane Color: Blue Dog's Weight: 120 Gets along with: Dogs?: All dogs Cats?:  All cats Kids?: All kids Training: Leash Trained: Walks loose leash Crate Trained: Goes to crate/kennel on command Potty Trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Rides well in car Meet Griffin Griffin has the size of a giant breed dog but the easygoing personality of a lifelong best friend. He is one of those rare dogs who seems to take everything in stride. New people, new places, other dogs, car rides—Griffin approaches life with a calm, relaxed attitude and a sweet disposition that makes him easy to fall in love with. Griffin is dog friendly and enjoys meeting other dogs, though he's perfectly content to sniff hello and then go about his business. He has previously lived with cats and did well with them, often choosing to relax alongside his feline friends. He's also good with children, making him a wonderful candidate for a variety of family situations. This handsome boy is leash trained, crate trained, potty trained, and rides well in the car. He has all the basics down and settles easily into daily life. Griffin isn't looking for excitement or adventure nearly as much as he's looking for companionship. His ideal day consists of spending time with his people, receiving affection, and enjoying the comforts of home. What truly makes Griffin special is how uncomplicated he is. He doesn't demand much, doesn't seem bothered by much, and is happiest when he's surrounded by people who care about him. His foster family describes him as incredibly laid back and easy to live with—a dog who simply wants love and a place to belong. Griffin would be an excellent fit for a first-time giant breed owner and could thrive in many different types of homes. Whether you're a family looking for a gentle companion, a couple seeking a loyal friend, or someone who simply wants a calm dog to share life with, Griffin has the temperament to fit right in. If you're searching for a sweet, steady companion with a heart as big as he is, Griffin may be the perfect addition to your family.
