Location: Nixa, MO Weight: 120 lbs Gunner's previous owner gave him away to a stranger on Facebook and shortly after that, he ended up in the shelter in pretty bad condition. Just Giants stepped in to rescue him in May and he has been thriving in his foster home since then. He is ready for his forever home now!  Gunner is an amazing boy that will be a great companion. He is a typical young Dane that loves to play and will need training. He doesn't quite understand how big he is! Which is why he would do best in a home without small children. He likes other dogs and will play with them all day. Meet Donnie... This 2 ½ year old Great Dane mix is half pony, half pup, and all smiles! Sweet and playful, Donnie loves his humans. He lives with two kids that he adores - but due to his size, would do best with children over the age of 10. At 85 pounds his playstyle would best be described as bouncy with a bit of clumsiness mixed in. If you love fine china and knick-knacks this is not the dog for you. Outside the home, Donnie can be a little shy when meeting new people. Throw him a few treats, however, and he'll be your new best friend. As for dogs - Donnie loves pups that are easy going, playful, and can keep up with his bouncy style. He wants nothing to do, however, with pups that are pushy or bossy and will avoid them at all cost. As for cats - he LOVES them! Crate trained, house broken, and knows all of his basic commands... this gentle giant has so much to offer.
