Meet Sprout! This devilishly handsome dane/lab mix is just five months old and will steal your heart the moment you meet him! He's currently just under 20 pounds but will most likely be upwards of 50 pounds fully grown. Sprout and his sister Brownie are two of the most deserving dogs around! They have overcome horrible odds and have survived parvo. They are now happy, healthy pups who are ready for families that will treat them like the prince and princess they are! Sprout is one happy-go-lucky dude. He goes right into his crate with a treat and is a very capable guy. Give this guy a toy or two and he's one happy camper! Sprout can be a bit hesitant with new people, but he warms up quickly. He's learning new commands and is very eager to please. Adopting a puppy is a long-term commitment that takes a lot of patience and dedication. Sprout will need a family that has the time to commit to his training and exercise needs. A yard for him to enjoy would be perfect for this fun-loving pup! He will benefit from continued socialization and can't wait to be part of your life. Based on his evaluation, we feel Sprout will do best in an active home with adults or families with kids of all ages. He may have the potential to live in a home with other pets and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. If you'd like a chance to show Sprout just how good life can be, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com to fill out an application today! **We are currently accepting applications and all pups will be ready for their homes after they are fully vetted**

Story
💙 Meet Raider 💙 Raider is a 9-month-old Great Dane puppy with a heart as big as his paws. This handsome boy is completely deaf, but don’t tell him that—it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, cuddly boy who loves being close to his people. Raider came to us emaciated and underweight, and at 115 pounds, he is still growing and gaining the weight he needs. Despite a rough start, he has blossomed into a happy, loving puppy and has so much life and love ahead of him. He has been well socialized with dogs, cats, and kids and is doing wonderfully in foster care. Raider is crate trained, potty trained, and while he can be a little sensitive in new situations, he is a playful, loving puppy who continues to gain confidence every day. Because Raider is completely deaf, he requires a home with a physically fenced yard. Experience with deaf dogs and/or giant breeds is preferred. Raider will leave our rescue vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed, fecal tested, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Because Raider is a giant breed puppy and needs much more time to grow, he will be adopted on a neuter contract with a refundable deposit, with neuter to be completed at the appropriate age. If you’re looking for a gentle giant in the making and a devoted best friend, Raider may be your boy. 🐾 Applications can be submitted at www.rescuepetsinc.com/adopt. Please note: All dogs in the home must be current on vaccinations, veterinary care, and year-round heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Raider is a very special boy, and due to his unique needs, the application process may take longer than usual as we work to find the best possible match for him.

🐾💛 DOUBLE THE LOVE, DOUBLE THE LOYALTY 💛🐾 Some dogs are happiest with their people. Zeus and Zora are happiest with each other. 🖤 This bonded pair has built a quiet little world together, and they’re looking for a home willing to open their heart to both of them. While their personalities are different, they balance each other beautifully. ✨ Zeus is the more sensitive of the two. New people and sudden movements can make him cautious at first, especially around larger men, but once he feels safe? He turns into a complete love bug. Zeus loves to follow his people from room to room, curl up close, and be part of whatever you’re doing. He still has a playful side too and enjoys tug toys and roughhousing around with Zora. He’s learning that the world isn’t so scary and continues to gain confidence every day. ✨ Zora is the calm, steady presence in the pair. She’s more laid back, happiest lounging nearby or curling up on you like a giant teddy bear while you relax. She’s not much for playtime and would prefer a peaceful home without younger, overly energetic dogs. Zora can be sensitive to noises and unfamiliar sounds, but once she settles into a routine, she relaxes beautifully and becomes incredibly affectionate. 💛 Together, they: ✔️ Are bonded and rely on each other for comfort ✔️ Love spending time outside with their people ✔️ Walk wonderfully together ✔️ Are eating well and adjusting nicely in foster care ✔️ Enjoy a calm routine and quiet companionship ✔️ Are affectionate, loyal, and deeply loving once they trust you Zeus may occasionally react when seeing other dogs on walks, but he redirects well with guidance and continues to improve. Both dogs thrive with patience, consistency, and a calm environment where they can feel secure. These two don’t need perfection. They just need someone willing to give them the chance to stay together. 🐾 And once they trust you? You’ll never question whether it was worth.

Story
At just five months old, Rhythm is a Great Dane puppy with oversized paws, a larger-than-life personality, and plenty to say about everything. This handsome boy is a full-time sassy pants who isn’t afraid to use his voice—when Rhythm has an opinion, chances are you’re going to hear it! 😆 He’s already potty trained, crate trained, and is an excellent car rider, making him a great companion for adventures big and small. Smart and eager to learn, Rhythm is still very much a puppy. He’s working on figuring out where the boundaries are and he’s definitely not afraid to test them. Rhythm needs a patient adopter who understands puppy behavior and will set clear, consistent limits. Though his adorable eyes and rascally antics can be hard to resist, Rhythm needs structure and predictable outcomes to help him continue to grow into the amazing adult dog he’s meant to be. Rhythm is playful, full of character, and loves to be the center of attention. So far in his life, he’s spent his days entertaining humans and animals alike, including kids, other dogs and even a fun-loving cat! When he’s not busy being the star of the show, Rhythm loves to plop himself on the lap of his favorite person for some serious snuggle time. He’s looking for a home that’s full of love, committed to continued training, and is ready to embrace all the fun, laughs, and occasional big time attitude that come with raising a young Dane. This boy is equal parts charm, confidence, comedy, and companionship.
