Story
These sweet babies just arrived to our rescue and are currently settling into their foster homes. Since this adorable crew just arrived, we don’t have much info yet, but we will update information as we learn about each pup. All of our pups will be fixed prior to adoption. They are currently living in temporary foster homes until they get fixed/find their forever homes. Our fosters will update us soon with pictures and bios. Many of these pups are shy at first as they have had a major change and are living inside a home with a family for the first time. They will need work on potty training, crate training, walking on a leash and basic commands. These dogs despite their past have love in their hearts and bright futures.💕 Until they have been to our vet for their spay/neuter, they will be considered foster to adopt. We do not officially adopt out pups until they are fixed. That being said, we would much rather them start to bond with their forever people then a temp foster while they wait for their final vet appointment. Breeds and ages listed on petfinder to the best of our ability. Just a reminder pups are a 15+ year commitment. Please have a plan for your furbaby. Check out our Facebook page for more information including our up coming adoption events in Brighton, MI. https://www.facebook.com/sgdhrescue?mibextid=LQQJ4d Sorry, we do not get message through Petfinder.

Story
Age: 18 months old This gorgeous Lab Dane Mix (to the best of our guesses) has a curly tail to go with her flirty personality. She’s a busy bee who loves to be with people and other dogs. Her coat is shiny and smooth, she's dark chocolate almost black with white on her chest. Daisy would thrive with basic training and time to mature - Crate trained and housebroken, she does counter surf. No farm animals please, she can jump fences. Prefers city life with pup cups and couches. Daisy has been spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped; heartworm treated and on prevention. Ready to travel to her adopters for Easter FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes transport options to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email to Apply! Story
Roman is the sappy love story-he will sucker you into falling for him! He is in excellent health and loves to be petted. He will need some training on a leash. He is quick to like a person and needs guidance in the environment and will be very calm even at the vet's office. He will need confidence boosting. Does not like to be left alone-will great you with leaning and circling around you when you return. The foster family says, "We joke that Roman's head is 30% lips, 60% ears, and 10% actual head! :) Roman would do great in a home with a sibling dog, and would love a rural/calm/quiet home. Roman had gastropexy, gdv correction, and a splenectomy and has been recovering beautifully!

Plymouth, MI
Size
(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
May is a wonderful Dane that was surrendered due to health issues of owners. She is overweight, so new home would need to continue small walks, and best environment is a one-story home. She is seeing vet and will be evaluated for her knees. She loves her stuffies, toys, and bones. She loves people and just wants to be loved and petted, and she will give you lots of kisses! Very happy girl who loves calm, quiet environments. Would be okay with another calm older Dane. May's sole purpose in life is to be with her humans and she is focused on her people! Not recommended to go to home with smaller dogs. Foster home reports she will do great with a calm dog-(male or female) that respects her space and toys/chew bones. Loves walks and care rides so would make a good take along companion! Potential adopter needs to understand weight loss will be ongoing issue and then maintaining. May is a wonderful girl and is a typical senior dane that just wants a soft and calm home with consistent love and attention from her humans. New home should want to walk her and help with weight loss.
