Story
Athena is the sweetest, 100lb cuddle-bug you'll ever meet. It breaks our heart to need to re-home her, but she does not get along with other dogs. She is loving and loyal. She is a purebred blue dane who would be perfect in a home without other pets. She's a covid puppy, so she has some separation anxiety- when you're home she wants to be on top of you:) If you're sick and tired of wasting your money on weighted blankets, then Athena is the answer to all your problems! Fantastic guard dog (big bark) but a giant softie (never had any issues with a bite). We've had her since she was born from a breeder, and given her daily joint supplements so she is perfectly healthy. She turned 4 in april and is up to dates on all her shots. She needs a home full of love but without other pets- she's got so much love to give she doesn't want to share you:) Adoption fee will go to pet shelter rescue of your choosing

Story
Hi there, my name is Lady Great! I came into the shelter as a stray so not much is known about me, but I have been very friendly and easygoing! I was a bit thin when I got here, but shelter staff has been feeding me lots of yummy food to help me gain weight. We always recommend slow and monitored introductions with new people or other pets in the home. If you have any questions, please ask to speak with staff. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope we can be friends!

Story
Banks, the rescue formerly known as Bane, is an 80 pound baby. Sometimes (ok- always) he doesn’t realize his own size & strength. We suggest an alpha personality owner for this boy to help him understand the “dos and don’ts” in the dog & human world. He would do best as an only pet with someone who wants a dog that adores them (he falls in love easily). Apply to adopt Banks at apsofpc.org under the Adopt tab. His fee is only $50!October 9, 2024, 10:10 am

Story
Are you ready to be captured by the charm of a huge dog? Look no further, this is Tito. Tito is a 3-year-old Great Dane looking for his forever home when his previous home did not work out for him. This boy is already housebroken, crate trained and gets along great with other dogs. We are looking for a home for this small horse (approximately 110 lbs.) that has previous giant breed experience and does not have young children in the home. Tito loves car rides, attention and enjoying the finer things in life like a comfortable afternoon nap. If your home is looking for a handsome addition look no further and visit us at reddogfarm.com to fill out an application.

Story
Name / Breed  / Age: Rowan,  Great Dane, 3yo Personality Traits: Affectionate, Resilient, & Food-motivated Likes / Dislikes:  Loves snuggles, car rides, and mealtime. Dislikes crate, unfamiliar situations, and missing meals! Health and behavior history:  Up to date on vaccines, dewormed, spayed, & possible microchip. Heartworm positive and receiving treatment. **Rowan is/was Heartworm Positive and PIPs has started her Heartworm treatment. If this treatment course isn't finished by the time she is adopted the treatment will be paid for by PIPs at one of our approved vets.** Rowan is such a sweet girl.  She's the epitome of a velcro Dane -- she gets attached quickly and loves with her whole heart.  She's still a little nervous from her extreme change in living situations over the last few weeks, but she is adjusting quickly and well.  She does not care for a crate, so if you're looking for a dog who can be crated during the day, she probably isn't it.  She does do well out in the house and (so far) is not destructive at all -- as long as there is nothing edible out!  This girl LOOOVES her food and will sniff it out if it's available.  She came from a neglect situation, so she is a little bit nervous at first but she warms up quickly and enjoys nothing more than snuggles.  She does pretty well on a leash and amazingly well in a car.  Rowan loves a car ride!  You can see from her pictures that she's a little bit underweight, but we're working on helping her gain weight healthily.  She is also heartworm positive, but again, we're working on getting her healthy.  If you're looking for an amazing companion dog -- Rowan is your girl!  She is great with kids and all dogs.  She hasn't met a cat yet, but she does not appear to have a strong prey drive. ##2180226##

Story
Copy and paste to view YouTube video: https://youtube.com/shorts/FChjQYI0kgo?si=57Cdji0Y7D1DVbsZ Lucy is a Great Dane/ Labrador retriever mix.  Her vet estimated year of birth is 2014, and she weighs about 85 pounds. She's low key and relaxed.  She walks beautifully on leash.  She really just wants a low key home where she can be loved and love in return.  She would love to take leisurely walks with you and sit at your feet with her head in your lap and watch TV together. Lucy has severe separation anxiety and really need a home where her owners are there most of the time or can take her wherever they go.  If you are a retired couple and would like a wonderful companion who will love you outrageously, Lucy is your girl.  ~~ Adoption donation $150 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
