Special Note about Delta: Delta had a full ophthalmologic workup regarding her mild entropion, which is most noticeable on her lower right eyelid. Her veterinarian confirmed that her eyelashes do not contact the eye or cornea, and surgery is not recommended at this time. She completed a short course of Neopolydex eye medication and does very well with routine lubricating eye drops such as OptixCare lubricating eye gel (or another non-saline eye lubricant), which are recommended for lifelong comfort and eye support. Delta’s condition is currently mild and well managed, and she remains happy and comfortable!
