Story
Yuki is a 3 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. Lacy is a gorgeous 5 month old female Great Pyrenees/lab. She was found as stray running the streets. She is loving her life as a family dog. She is doing great with other dogs and children! She is going to make the best family dog. She is an active girl so she would love a family that will take her for walks and adventures!! She is being fostered in Madison AL. Story
Cedar had been a long-term resident at an animal shelter I worked at for a few months and was not doing too great in a kennel. As I no longer have a job (old company shut down due to inadequate funding), I cannot afford his needs nor do I have the room for him in my current housing. He is by far one of the sweetest, most versatile dogs one could ask for! He does love kids, however getting some energy out would do some good as he does like to shake. He is VERY food motivated, cuddly, and a big goof ball. He can be a couch potato, or a hiking buddy. One thing to note is that he does have a fear of thunderstorms! He tries to hide under blankets or behind couches to get away from the noise. He does have a habit of “snarling” when excited, but he’s learned to smile at people the way we smile at him!
