Ziggy is a pyrenees/heeler mix, 1 1/2 years old, neutered male.He is a total goofball, a loving and loyal boy who deserves a home where he can get all the time, attention, and care he needs. Since he is a very high energy dog, it would be best if he had a larger yard to run around in or to stay an outside dog. He is very shy but will come out of his shell. We are committed to finding the right person or family—not just the first one who asks. Story
Percy is a big, sweet, gentle goofball who wants to love and be loved. He is playful, smart, affectionate, loyal and incredibly bonded to his person. He is not destructive or aggressive. I chose “behavioral” only because it was the closest option available. Percy is a large, strong guardian-breed dog who is very protective of me and reactive on leash near our home. Condo living simply isn’t a good fit for what he needs. What gives me confidence in Percy is how well he does away from me. He has been boarded, attended doggie daycare, played happily with other dogs and been walked by staff without problems. He does beautifully at the groomer and vet and willingly goes with other people. Percy needs space to run and play and someone who understands large or guardian-breed dogs. Rehoming him is breaking my heart. He is a wonderful, deeply loving dog, and I want more than anything to find the person who will love him just as deeply. I won't let him go otherwise.

Meet Jade, the most outgoing and friendly pup from mama Crystal’s litter of seven. Jade climbs into your lap the first chance she gets and soaks up all the attention. She can never get enough! Mama Crystal was rescued right before she gave birth, and her puppies were born into a loving home on June 20. Their outgoing, loving personalities reflect a charmed life thus far. They are nine weeks old as of August 22. Breed results for Jade’s sister Sapphire show that these pups are likely a mix of 16 different breeds. The three top breeds are Great Pyrenees (28%), Husky (18%) and Mountain Cur (10%). (See the photos for the complete results.) Jade weighed 9 pounds at eight weeks old, which puts her on track to be about 50-60 lbs. when full grown. Jade is just a pleasure to be around. She’s a little spunky, but very charming. When you’re holding her, you can feel her tail rapidly wagging. She always seems so happy. She loves to snuggle and is obsessed with belly rubs, but she also adores playing with all the dogs in her foster home. She has never met a stranger, whether it’s a dog, a human or a cat. She rides great in the car and doesn’t get carsick. She is fearless 99% of the time. The only thing that has ruffled her feathers is bath time, but she will walk through the water of a kiddie pool!
