Story
Dolly is a 3yr female Great Pyrenees mix at about 85lbs and Dixie (Dolly's daughter) is a 2yr female Great Pyrenees mix at about 56lbs and these girls are looking for their new forever family. They are being surrendered to GRRAND as their people can not financially afford the girls, and sadly feel  it is best for them to go to a home where they will get all of the care they need.  They are house-trained and have full roam of the house when left alone and they also get along with other dogs. These girls will need a home with a fenced in yard as their Great Pyrenees instincts to protect and patrol are done best in the confines of a secure and safe fenced in yard. These girls have been together since Dixie was born and they are BFF's, so need to stay together. We are told: "Dolly and her daughter Dixie are both sweethearts. Dolly is a mother by nature and wants to lick up and take care of all dogs that come into the house. Her favorite place to be is outside, whereas Dixie loves to be inside. They are both people and dog friendly and I have had a cat and they both were okay with the cat. Dolly has longer hair and has more pyrenees, whereas her daughter Dixie has shorter hair and looks more like a lab." As we learn more we will update, but if you would like to inquire about Dolly and Dixie, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org ##2041631##

Story
River and Oak are approximately 18 month old, both male and very large (about 80ish lbs or so) Great Pyrenees littermates. They are new to GRRAND so we are still learning about them, but one thing is for sure, they are so sweet and loving and they love to be petted! They were surrended as they were supposed to be trained for their Large Guardian Dog duties, but we are told by their previous owners that: "They were Initially raised to work as farm dogs, but due to our inability to spend the proper training time with them, they have spent most of their time in a kennel with no attention. They need a more caring and attentive environment – they are very sweet and docile dogs and we feel they need better care than we can give them." Neither of these boys have messed in their kennel run, and they are prepped to get a nice bath and brush. We think it's best to split these two up as Oak gets jealous if River tries to take his human's attention. GRRAND has had them with some of our easy dogs with no issues.  These guys need to go to homes with secure above ground fenced yards as they are Guardian dogs, and their job is to patrol and protect and they do this best in a secure and safe space, also they have never been on leash before coming to GRRAND. Great Pyrs have some differences than Goldens, so you should do a bit of research on the breed before you apply.  More to come on these two, but if you are interested in fostering or adopting one of these handsome floofy boys, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org ##2681730##

Story
Apollo is a male, 11ish month old, Great Pyr mix that was brought to GRRAND with his sister Nova. They are a pair that seem to have a close bond, but we do think they have a better chance at learning manners & bonding with a family if they’re separated. These 2 have no manners and are very high energy puppies, so if someone was interested in them both, they would need to be committed to training with them right away. They are still working on potty-training as they have only been outside pups, but making strides. They are super friendly and can play rough with each other, so they will need the right dog in their new home to fit their needs. Their family will need to have the time and patience to give them the exercise and direction they need to be good pups. A tired pup is a good pup! They will need a home with a secure fenced in yard as Great Pyr's love to roam and patrol, and they do this best in a secure and safe space. These pups are very sweet and need to get out of the kennel for us to learn more about them.  Please check back for more info but if you would like to meet one or both, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org   ##2668979##

Story
Fred is a 10 month old Great Pyrenees pup that was dumped in a ditch with his sibling Ethel, and found by a good Samaritan. She brought them to her house to clean them up, and had them for 3 weeks trying to find their home, with no one claiming them. She realized she could not keep them and called GRRAND for help as her yard is way too small for 2 big pups like them. Fred is going to be a BIG boy when full grown, so you must be a family ready for a polar bear in your house! These 2 have lived outside and are ready to learn what living in a warm and loving home with lots of TLC and a soft bed and food are all about. We are learning about them so are not sure of their potty training habits just yet, but we will update.  The Great Pyrenees love to hang out, roam and patrol their yard, and they do that best in a secure area. They are looking for a secure above ground fenced yard and a family that loves to understand their breed. They have so many similiarities to Goldens, but we suggest you research them to understand how they are different too.  We are still learning about Fred so please check back for more info, or fill out an app at GRRAND.org if you would like to meet them!     ##2542955##

Story
Bella is an 8 month old, 70ish lb, female Great Pyrenees puppy who was surrendered with her sister Maple, as their person is very sick and can no longer care for them. It was a devastating decision they had to make, but knew GRRAND would find them the right home. They tell us that "they are good with dogs, cats, chickens and farm animals." They will need to go to a home with a secure above ground fenced yard, as the Great Pyrenees love to roam and patrol and this is done best in a secure and safe environment. Bella is just a puppy, so she needs a family with the time and commitment to helping her adjust to her new home and give her the exercise and direction she will need to be a good puppy.  We are still learning about Maple, but if you would like to meet Maple and or Bella and or both, and be the proud owner (or foster!) to these FLOOFY WHITE PUFFS of adorableness, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org ##2654296##
