Leo is a wonderful 6 year old Great Pyrenees who I adopted from a local SPCA in Delaware. He spent the first 3-4 years of his life with me in Philadelphia and since then we’ve spent the last two years outside of Seattle, WA (larger home with yard, space, etc.) having recently moved back to our old neighborhood in Philadelphia in June of this year. Since moving back Leo has had a really hard time readjusting to city life again and we've had a mixture of ups and downs with a few aggressive outbursts involving family members (lots of barking and a couple of bites). With my partner and I thinking about our future and starting a family, we are having to make the difficult decision to rehome him to an environment better suited to his needs and breed. He is a wonderful boy with a sweet tempermant and would make a great addition to a home with space and room to roam. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Thanks!

Meet Sweetheart! Sweetheart is a 2-year-old, 80 lb gentle giant who lives up to her name in every way. With a calm, affectionate nature and a love for lounging, she’s the perfect low-energy companion for someone seeking a laid-back best friend. Sweetheart is dog-friendly and easygoing. She hasn’t been around small kids, but she does great with teenagers. With people, she’s friendly and outgoing, soaking up all the pets and attention without being overwhelming. She doesn’t jump, lick, or act wild—just calmly enjoys your company. True to her couch potato status, she spends her days napping, shifting from one cool spot on the floor to another. She’s impeccably house-trained, never gets into the trash or onto furniture, and sleeps through the night without a sound. She’s never been crate-trained because she doesn’t need one—she’s trustworthy, clean, and respectful inside the home. Sweetheart knows basic commands like “sit” and “shake,” and she’s always happy to receive affection. In fact, she’ll often block your path just to make sure she gets some love on your way by.
