Meet Paisley! Breed: Great Pyrenees Mix Estimated DOB: 01/12/2022 Sex: Female (spayed) Weight: 68 lbs Currently up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations Things To Know about Paisley: Rescued from a shelter in Mississippi with her 7 puppies Breed or similar breed experience required to adopt Like a Pyr, Paisley is often aloof & independent but getting more affectionate off crate rest Can be timid upon first meeting  Takes about 2 days to warm up in new environments but settles in beautifully Very sweet and loving personality with a constant smile Calm temperament and easy-going nature, but can be mischievous around food Very easy to care for, doesn't ask for much Does great on a leash and enjoys walking around the neighborhood - especially confident when with other dogs Gets nervous around bikes and other things with wheels (not cars) Enjoys napping on the couch with her people but prefers cooler floors Will give you the classic "Pyr paw" when she wants pets May cuddle for a few minutes but values her independence Sometimes comes when called - typical Pyr selective listening! Loves to be outside, especially in cooler temperatures or will curl up in the shade Loves adventures and outings - perfect hiking companion Needs patience with grooming (baths and nail trims) but stays gentle Housebroken Dog friendly and great with puppies Loves to play with other dogs of all sizes - from tiny Chihuahuas to big dogs Very happy and playful with her canine friends Cat friendly Looking for loving and committed forever homes to provide her with the care and love she deserves Learn more and apply to adopt at TLCrescuePA.org/adopt Interested in fostering? Story
Hello, my name is: AspenDOB: 04/22/25Sex/Breed: Spayed female Great PyreneesWeight: 65 lbs.Rescued from: Owner surrenderMeet Aspen, a beautiful Great Pyrenees puppy with the fluffiest white coat. Aspen and her brother, Denali, were given as a well-intentioned gift, but when their owner wasn’t prepared for puppies, they found themselves living outside. Thankfully, they were given another chance and ended up in rescue, and Aspen has blossomed in her foster home. She is a gentle, thoughtful girl who’s learning the joys of indoor life. She’s house-trained and crate-trained, enjoys a good routine, and loves the comfort of the couch. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new things, but she’s gaining confidence every day with the help of her foster family.Aspen adores other dogs and is getting along beautifully with her canine foster siblings. She is also cat-friendly and does well with respectful children. A fenced yard where she can explore safely would make her very happy.Once she knows she’s safe, Aspen’s affectionate nature shines through — she’s loyal, gentle, and oh-so-sweet! With love and patience, she’ll reward her family with endless devotion. Aspen will make a wonderful, loving companion for a family ready to help her continue to grow and thrive… could that be yours??All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Jumping Jack Junior is a dog with a huge smile and the most handsome good looks ever.   He is a Golden/Great Pyr mix that is only one year old and weighs 61 pounds.  We are guessing his breed but he seems more Golden in size and then more Great Pyr in appearance.  This boy is joyous and couldn't be more of a free spirit and  with an inviting personality to come and play with him and let him love your family.  Junior found himself in a Texas shelter because his owner was evicted from her home.  The two small 15 pound dogs living there with Junior, also lost their home and are in the shelter.  Junior has been a great big brother to these small dogs and he is most certainly now willing and able to be a friend to other small dogs and animals if needed.  He has no aggression in his soul and he is NOT reactive to any new encounters with other dogs when on a leash.  He is passive and fun loving and adores meeting new people to become his friend.  He is leash trained and housebroken and just one of those gorgeous A+++ dogs that you really need to consider taking home if you like the bigger than life luxurious dogs.  He is a Jumping Jack Prince of a dog.... Junior promises to be one of your best decision when adopting a dog to be by your side for the next 15 years.  If you are interested please don't hesitate and contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We can adopt him to Tennessee residents and also can transport him to northeastern families.  Just mention when you live when inquiring and asking for an application.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 19, 2025, 1:16 pm
