Leo is a wonderful 6 year old Great Pyrenees who I adopted from a local SPCA in Delaware. He spent the first 3-4 years of his life with me in Philadelphia and since then we’ve spent the last two years outside of Seattle, WA (larger home with yard, space, etc.) having recently moved back to our old neighborhood in Philadelphia in June of this year. Since moving back Leo has had a really hard time readjusting to city life again and we've had a mixture of ups and downs with a few aggressive outbursts involving family members (lots of barking and a couple of bites). With my partner and I thinking about our future and starting a family, we are having to make the difficult decision to rehome him to an environment better suited to his needs and breed. He is a wonderful boy with a sweet tempermant and would make a great addition to a home with space and room to roam. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Thanks!

He bonds deeply with his people and is happiest simply hanging out by your side. He is sweet, gentle with adults, and has an adorable, expressive face that wins everyone over. Marshal does, however, need a very specific type of home. He cannot be around children, especially small ones, and must be placed in an adults-only environment. He also has a low tolerance for frustration, and his anxiety makes him reactive. Because he is so attached to his people, he doesn’t like being left alone. He thrives in a calm, predictable home where he can feel secure. He would also do best with a fenced-in yard, where he can safely relax, explore, and burn off energy without added stress.
