Story
Meet Paisley! Breed: Great Pyrenees Mix Estimated DOB: 01/12/2022 Sex: Female (spayed) Weight: 74 lbs Currently up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations Things To Know about Paisley: Rescued from a shelter in Mississippi with her 7 puppies Breed or similar breed experience required to adopt Like a Pyr, Paisley is often aloof & independent but getting more affectionate off crate rest Can be timid upon first meeting  Takes about 2 days to warm up in new environments but settles in beautifully Very sweet and loving personality with a constant smile Calm temperament and easy-going nature, but can be mischievous around food Very easy to care for, doesn't ask for much Does great on a leash and enjoys walking around the neighborhood - especially confident when with other dogs Gets nervous around bikes and other things with wheels (not cars) Enjoys napping on the couch with her people but prefers cooler floors Will give you the classic "Pyr paw" when she wants pets May cuddle for a few minutes but values her independence Sometimes comes when called - typical Pyr selective listening! Loves to be outside, especially in cooler temperatures or will curl up in the shade Loves adventures and outings - perfect hiking companion Needs patience with grooming (baths and nail trims) but stays gentle Housebroken Dog friendly and great with puppies Loves to play with other dogs of all sizes - from tiny Chihuahuas to big dogs Very happy and playful with her canine friends Cat friendly Looking for loving and committed forever homes to provide her with the care and love she deserves Learn more and apply to adopt at TLCrescuePA.org/adopt Interested in fostering?
