Story
Beautiful large mixed guard breed 23 months old. Loves outdoors and watching his perimeter. Loyal, smart, and listens. Happy but anxious. Obsessed with our cat and always chasing and pinning him down. Probably best he is not around cats. Does well with friendly dogs. Has never been around small children but I wouldn’t suggest it because he tends to resource guard. He does not like water. He enjoys praise and pats. He has never bit anyone but has nipped with resource guarding. He needs to be on a farm and working all day. He loves his frisbee. An experienced guard dog owner with a calm disciplined demeanor would be best.

Story
Yuki is a 2 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. If you are interested in adopting Yuki please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.
