Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY. Biscuit is a sweet, sweet dog. Always looking for some pets and love. Not super high energy but does love to run in the yard with my larger dog. He gets super excited when anyone in the house comes home, He attaches very well to the household residents. He is happy to snuggle on the sofa for hours. He sleeps on a dog bed in the bedroom. He is also fine to stay in his crate. He can be left in the house alone when no one is home and he is always just snuggled up sleeping. He loves his cozy sweaters and has a blast playing in the snow. He loves car rides too. He has not been around smaller dogs or cats. He does chase squirrels and birds in the yard, always! Yuki is a 3 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. Noel is a good dog…trained, well-behaved, gets along well with other dogs. Cats are an unknown. She’s great at the vet and the groomer. Noel loves a good walk. She likes the dog park and was always good in doggy daycare. Noel is very friendly but is best suited for a home without toddlers. Children 13yrs and older recommended. She has been working hard in training and making wonderful progress as she learns to trust. She’s a sensitive girl who approaches new people with caution, but with calm, positive introductions, her confidence continues to grow every day. Once she feels safe, Valerie shows her sweet, affectionate side and forms deep bonds with her people. Valerie would do best with an experienced dog owner who understands fearful dogs and is willing to go at her pace. She can be fearful of strangers initially, but patient, low-pressure interactions work wonders for her; sitting down, offering quiet encouragement and letting Valerie choose when to engage helps her feel secure and successful. In the home, Valerie is calm, well-mannered, and a joy to live with. She is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on leash. She enjoys relaxing with her person, quietly playing with her squeaky toys, and soaking up peaceful companionship.
