Story
Archie is a wonderful loving and super friendly companion! All he wants is to be with his people! We take him on walks downtown and to restaurants with outdoor seating and he is super well behaved and everyone who meets him loves him! He’s still a puppy at only 2 years old. He gets along with other pets very well. We don’t want to rehome our little buddy but due to our schedules, we aren’t home enough to give him the attention he deserves. Whoever adopts him should consider themselves blessed! We just want him to go to a wonderful loving home that will treat him like family.

RCHS does not conduct DNA tests on dogs who enter our facility therefore we are unable to guarantee breed or breed mix. Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dog’s breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

I got Mack when he was a puppy. My step parents have deemed him as vicious and are scared of him they put him in a shelter and I knew that wouldn’t be right for him. He is currently being taken care of by my mother but he can’t stay permanently. He’s 120lbs loves to run, he know how to sit and shake. He’s not fully trained he needs someone who is going to be able to put time into training him and maybe a big area since he’s a working dog. He loves to be outdoors. He very protective of his kids and his women so if that’s too much I understand I just want him to go to a loving family.
