Meet Lani — A Young Great Pyrenees With a Heart Worth Waiting For Pittsburgh, PA • Securely fenced yard required Sweet Lani is the kind of Great Pyrenees who captures your attention quietly — not with bravado, but with softness. She’s a young Pyr girl who is up to date on her shots, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and carries a gentle spirit that makes you want to kneel down and tell her she’s safe. At first, Lani is a little shy. She watches, she wonders, she hopes. But give her just a bit of time — a calm voice, a patient hand, a safe place to land — and she will offer you something rare and beautiful: Her whole heart. ✨ Why Lani Is So Special Young, sweet, and wonderfully gentle Up to date on vaccinations Gets along well with other dogs Sensitive, soulful, and eager to bond Blossoms with patience and kindness ✨ What She’s Looking For A loving home in the Pittsburgh area A securely fenced yard to keep her safe as she settles in Someone who understands that trust is earned slowly… and then given fully If you’ve been hoping for a Pyr who will adore you quietly, faithfully, and wholeheartedly, Lani may be the girl you’ve been waiting for. Story
Meet Lulu! 🐾 Lulu is a sweet and sassy, approximately 9-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy who is learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. After being found as a stray, she's had a rough start in life, but every day she grows a little more confident and discovers just how wonderful it is to be loved. Current hobbies include: chasing bugs like they're her full-time job, playing with her favorite toys, making new dog friends, and stealing hearts one fluffy smile at a time. Once Lulu learns she can trust you, she lets her guard down and her goofy, playful personality begins to shine. Watching her confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of loving her. She is still learning that her crate is a safe place, but she'll happily go in for a treat and settles quietly when it's time to rest. Lulu is working on potty training, learning good manners, and building confidence in new situations. She is up to date on her vaccinations, is microchipped, and is continuing to learn leash skills and how to become a well-mannered companion. Because of her difficult past, Lulu is looking for a patient, understanding family willing to help her continue her journey. She does well with other dogs but would do best with a calm, easygoing canine companion, as she is still learning appropriate behaviors around valued resources. Like many puppies, Lulu is also still exploring the world with her mouth, so a home with older children would be the best fit. Lulu isn't looking for perfection—she's looking for someone willing to help her become the amazing dog she's meant to be. Once you've earned her trust, you'll have a loyal best friend who will love you with her whole heart. If you are interested in meeting this wonderful girl, please contact Sandy or the Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue . An above-ground secure fence is required to provide Lulu with a safe place to play and exercise. We are currently looking for adoptive homes in the greater Pittsburgh area. Lulu has overcome so much already. Now she's just waiting for someone to show her what forever feels like. Could that be you? ❤️ If you are interested in becoming a foster or adopting one of our amazing dogs please copy and paste the following link and fill out an application and someone will get back to you shortly! Story
Meet Leo — our charming 11‑month‑old Great Pyrenees pup with a heart as big as his paws. He’s up to date on vaccines, microchipped, great with other dogs and cats, and has that classic Pyr sweetness wrapped in a goofy, lovable package. One of his signature moves? Crossing or folding his front paws like a little gentleman. Leo has come a long way with crate training — he’ll go in on his own now,. He sleeps soundly through the night and absolutely adores doggy daycare, where he gets all the playtime he wishes . Leo thrives on routine and decompression. He goes on peaceful walks in the woods, which he loves, and he gets a daily nap in a quiet room to help him reset from overstimulation. It makes a world of difference for him. He’s an awesome boy with so much potential, so much joy, and so much love to give. Sonny and Cher, are you serious?? Who named us??? The lady from the 70's OBVIOUSLY!! I mean, us MILLENIALS have no idea who they are!! Seriously, one has LONG black hair and one had a bowl cut LOL, we look NOTHING like them... AND we are SIBLINGS, YUCK!! So now you know ALL about us... tell us about you and your family please! We want our own homes, we are not bonded, lol. But HEY if you adopted both of us you would win the LOTTO because we are AMAZING! and more than a little hairy, so two fluffballs may be better than one :) We were born to feral parents and we are breaking that generational curse right now! We are ready for you I hope you are ready for us :) Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (incudes transport to your area)
