Story
Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they are adopted. ALL our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Stetson - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! The advertising for the very famous Stetson hats describes the product as "meticulously designed and handcrafted in Texas; the name signifies quality and durability." Hey, the same can be said about lil' ol' me!! I have a proud hairytage of a purebred Labrador Retriever Mama and and purebred Great Pyrenees Papa.....and I am proud to be a native Texan :) (photos of parents available upon request!!) With this genetic bonanza, no wonder I am such a handsome guy!! At almost 6 months young (DOB is 12/07/22), I weigh in at a healthy 42 pounds of happy puppy. I am the most laid back and easy going of my litter; most definitely no alpha dog here!! I get along with all of the dogs, but would be happiest with another easy going, confident kind of dog and Hooman personality. I am loving and a great companion. I love my daily walks and swimming in the river, but am not going to be hyper if I don't run a marathon daily! I have a very low to medium energy level and a very zen aura. Foster Mum says that I am an old soul. I will most likely be around 60-70 pounds when fully growed :) I am crate trained, working on house training, and know how to walk on a leash. I am a "Good Boy" and try to make my Foster Mum happy. I don't jump up on people or tear toys up. I like to play with the other dogs and toys in a gentle manner. My overall behavior is calm. If you have been waiting for a gentle, kind soul to fill your life with peaceful coexistence, I am your guy!!

Story
Take a look at this 80 lbs of cuteness how can you resist this ADORABLE face? Meet Ayla. She is a 19 month old Great Pyrenees Pup. who is up to date on shots, Spayed and microchipped.. Ayla is very loving, and snuggly. She has all the typical puppy habits, her manners are good, she’s crate trained, and housebroken. Ayla is working on her basic obedience commands and doing well. She is best described as medium energy. Despite her size she is a puppy still, so she will need you to teach her what she still needs to learn, so an obedience class is suggested. Looking for that perfect partner to greet you when you get home, or to take with you on hike, or to just snuggle up at night on the sofa? Ayla is your gal! Ayla does well with other dogs, but it does take her a little time to accommodate to them.. but once she accepts them, she is a playful friend. If interested in meeting Ayla, please contact Sandy at , or respond by e-mail -- Ayla will LOVE you for it! We will also need you to fill out our adoption survey Ayla will need an above ground fence for safe play and exercise. We are looking for homes in the surrounding Pittsburgh area. For more information please contact Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization or visit our web page http://www.swpapyr.org for more information. Story
Hi, my name is Ghost. I am a 2 year old ever so handsome Great Pyrenees boy. I am up to date on shots, microchipped and Neutered. Those are the simple stats on me - but when trying to sum me up, there’s so much more to know. I am a lovable boy who is initially a little shy when meeting. I have had a rough start in life,… and was at the receiving end of a hard hand by a man, so I am more doting on women, but if you have patience and show me that I can have faith and trust - I am more than Happy and willing to give my heart to man. I‘ve had some obedience training, and walk well on a lead, sit, lie down, and in general, I do want to please my people, I just need firm by fair guidance. Ghost Loves to go for car rides, and certainly enjoys long walks on nature trails. He gets excited and can figure out a lot of food puzzles that we offer to him for enrichments. Ghost seems to get along with other dogs, and has been around cats and shown an indifference to them. If interested in meeting Handsome Ghost, please contact Sandy, or respond by e-mail – Ghost will LOVE you for it! We will also need you to fill out our adoption survey. Ghost will need an above ground fence - at Least 5 foot high for safe play and exercise, We are looking for homes in the surrounding Pittsburgh area.
