Story
These two sweet pups, Peyton and Paycee, are siblings. A nice lady found them under her house, most likely from where someone threw them out. Peyton is such a handsome boy and his coat is super soft…makes you just want to scoop him up and snuggle with him. He is a little shy, but he responds well to a kind voice and touch…nothing a little love won’t cure. He is a sweet, happy and loveable guy and like most puppies his age, he loves to run and play with the other puppies. He will probably do best in an adult home or with older kids. Since they were found out in the country and we didn’t see the parents, we can’t be sure of their breeding, but we think they have some Great Pyrenees in them. Once this darling fellow gets settled in and used to his new family, he will make them an awesome companion. Peyton is 5 months old (dob 12/19/22), and weighs approximately 40 pounds at the time of this posting 5/23/23. He has been neutered, microchipped, fecal tested and is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Peyton is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
Meet cuddly Mario. He is a brown, dusted with black, and white Great Pyrenees mix born 12/25/2022. He is going to be big! He is up to date on vaccinations. His adoption donation is $450.00 and the transport fee $165.00. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Rocky is such a good boy, with plenty of love to give. He’s very handsome, playful, good with kids, and generally obedient for a 2 year old. The reason why we’re finding a new home for him is, my wife runs a business out of our home with people in and out all the time. Rocky cannot control his excitement, and tends to jump and ‘excited pee’ a little bit. Obviously this is not loved by everyone! We do wear ‘belly bands’ on him when we allow him roam the house with guests. Also, while we have a decent sized property, we don’t have a fenced in yard for him to run which is important for Great Pyrenees. We work a lot and are kids are getting grown. He needs more exercise and a better opportunity to love well and live his best life. While a fenced yard isn’t a requirement, it sure would help for him to be outside much more than he is. He’s truly a great dog, just not the right fit for our family.

Story
Leia is a beautiful high energy 14 month old. She is a Great Pyrenees who is very affectionate. She likes giving hugs to humans and canines alike. She will ask anything to play with her and needs an active home to keep her stimulated. If a toy does not catch her fancy she plays with rocks. She just LOVES to play! She has a few down sides so a tidy house is a must. She loves to steal under garments and shoes are a favorite item to chew. She needs to be kept busy or she will find something new to test with her teeth and paws. Shes your typical working dog young adult! She plays outside in any weather. She sadly was not allowed to be a puppy and now at the age of 14 months old, she is making up for lost time. She is currently fostered with cats and does fine. She is crate trained and spends each night in her crate on a soft dog bed. We don't recommend small children as she loves to jump up and needs manners. She does need a fenced in yard or an active home with will help her expend her energy. She would do best as the only female dog in the home but should be fine with a male or as an only dog. She will be an amazing addition to a family that will help her continue to learn manners. For an application please visit Www.zoeshouserescue.com
